Everybody was still in bed when I woke up the next morning, sipping my coffee I looked out at the view, it was gorgeous. We were surrounded by trees and right by a lake, it was so calming and relaxing. It wasn't long before I heard them moving about upstairs, mum and lori came down at the same time.

"Hi guys, how'd you sleep?" I asked smiling.

"Ok I suppose" mum answered rubbing her eyes.

Lori didn't even bother with a reply she just grabbed some water from the fridge and disappeared back upstairs.

"So any plans for today?"

Mum poured herself a coffee and sat down at the table.

"Not sure.. Derek is still fast asleep. Don't think he'll be getting up anytime soon"

"Oh right" was all I could be bothered to say.

"I might go back to bed for a bit, will you wake me if I'm not up in two hours?"

"Sure"

If she thought I was going to hang around by myself just to wake them up then she was wrong. I quickly got showered and changed then dialled Damon's number, i was just about to hang up when he answered..

"Hello"

"Hey is that you Damon?"

"Sure is.. I take it this is super bitch?"

I couldn't help but laugh at that although I was kind of a bitch yesterday.

"Sure is! So looks like it's gonna be another boring day for me, just wondered I you fancied doing something?"

"Yeah ok, I just have to get ready. Meet me in town in about half an hour?"

"Oki doke, see you soon" I said hanging up.

I poured myself another coffee before I left, I thought about leaving a note but didn't bother in the end. Why should I?

When I got into town I noticed Damon standing outside the coffee shop, he was on the phone bit smiled when he seen me. Walking over to him I caught just the end of his conversation.

"Ok I will, love you gorgeous.. Bye"

"Was that your mum?"

"You're hilarious!" He laughed sarcastically.

"I know!"

"So I thought, maybe we could go abseiling.. That's something you want to do isn't it?"

"Yeah sounds great. I'm quite hungry though, do you wanna grab something to eat first?"

We went into a little cafe near by and ordered some food, I was tempted to have another coffee but decided against it and stuck with water.

"So doesn't your girlfriend mind you hanging out with random girls?"

"No, she trusts me and I trust her"

"So how often do you see each other?"

"Just whenever we are both free, normally about twice a week although it will be more when I get my car. So what about you? Got a boyfriend?"

I was wondering how long it would take until that question came up, I could either just say no and leave it at that or I could be honest.

"No boyfriend but I do like this girl"

I watched his reaction to see if I could tell what he thought about that, but there was no reaction at all.

"Cool so you're a lesbian then?"
