I called Scarlett she might be here in any minute, I heard the bell rang so I went to open it, it must be Scarlett "What happened?" She asked worried, I dried my tears "I don't know I mean he was acting weird but Y/N said he was alright and then he was with Ethan, they were playing but he is laying there and I think he can't breath" I told her

She followed me where Bo is, she kneeled to see what is happening, "He is still breathing" she said "Yeah I know but look, he doesn't look good" I told her "Did you call the vet?" She asked me "I tried but he doesn't pick up the fucking phone" I told her frustrated, I don't know what else to do "Okay we are taking him there, instead of waiting here" Scarlett decided as she picks him up "I'll go get Ethan" I told her as I run where Ethan is

He hasn't stopped crying, "Come on baby boy everything is going to be alright" I whispered as I kiss his little head and carried him. We walked to Scarlett's car and she started driving, "Have you called Y/N?" She asked me "She is in a meeting I don't want to worry her, I need Bo to be okay" I told Scarlett "We are almost there, and they will find a way to help him" Scarlett tried to calm me down but I'm still worried, I love Bo a lot but for Y/N is different I know it is

When we arrived, the vet took Bo, we didn't take Bo to his vet because he is not in the city and that's why he wasn't answer the fucking phone, so Scarlett took us to one, she said that this vet is amazing and that Bo is in good hands. I kept trying to call him but nothing, I left him a lot of voicemails maybe some of them are very rude but I don't care, what I care right now is that Bo had to be okay

We've been here for a while, I'm scared that Y/N will arrive home soon and none of us will be there, maybe I should text her about what is happening. I was about to text her but the vet came out "What's wrong with him?" I asked her "I'm sorry but he was sick and didn't have much time" she said

No this can't be happening, "What do you mean? Where is he?" I asked her "I'm sorry for your loss" she said I looked at Scarlett who has teary eyes. I don't know how I'm going to tell Y/N, this is going to break her, she won't like this. How am I supposed to tell her that her little baby is dead, that her dog is dead, Bo was so important to us but Y/N literally saw him as her son. When I gave Bo to Y/N, she was so happy, they spent a lot of time together, how am I going to tell her that her best friend is not with us anymore, that she won't see him again

Scarlett helped me to sign some papers, I want Bo's body, I'm sure Y/N will want his little body, I know I warned Y/N this could happen soon but I never imagine it was going to be this soon, I know she is not prepared for this. They didn't want to give me his little body but I insisted, Scarlett ended convincing them, but they won't giving him to me until tomorrow

I have to tell Y/N about this but how?. I don't think I can tell her, I don't know where to start. It's already late but Y/N hasn't called so that must mean she is not in the house yet, Ethan stopped crying and fell asleep. I know Ethan knew something was wrong with Bo, he was with Bo when Bo started acting weird, and then his breathing started sounding different, I thought he ate something that he shouldn't, I never thought he was dying, I knew he was sick and doesn't have a lot of time but as Y/N said he looked okay, tired but okay

Scarlett drove us back to the house "Do you want me to stay and tell Y/N?" She asked me making me sighed "No, I think is better if I tell her alone, thank you though, for everything, I really got scared and didn't know what to do" I told her and she smile sadly at me "I'm always here Lizzie" she said as she takes my hand "What if maybe I wasted a lot of time calling you, maybe he would be still alive if I would have gone by myself and not waiting" I told Scarlett "Stop Lizzie, don't blame yourself, we all knew that Bo was sick since he was born and you and Y/N were nice enough to give him a home and love him with all your heart, you gave him a happy life"
