Messy birthday

Lizzie's POV

After New Year's we flew back to LA, and almost three weeks later I started working again, I got upset but Y/N made sure to make me feel better about it, and she did what she promised, she would bring Ethan and we would have lunch here sometimes they even waited for me to be done and go home together, of course there were a few days that she had to work and we decided not to hire a nanny so Sofia watched Ethan for us and when my mom was here she would watch him too, but I couldn't ask either of them to bring him set for me to see him

Also one day when we were on set and Y/N brought Ethan and Kobe, we were in my trailer and Ethan talked, he said bye, we were so happy and then confused at why his first word was bye, but then we remembered that since Ethan was so young he used to wave at people goodbye so now he doesn't stop saying bye to people even if they are just arriving he says bye and makes everyone laugh

After that he started calling Y/N mama too making Y/N so happy then he called me mommy and other words, now he talks even more, but sometimes he says nonsense so no one understands him, oh but Y/N pretends she understands him, I already told her not to do that because Ethan will think we really understand him and he is talking right but he is not but of course Y/N keeps pretending she knows what he is saying

On my birthday we didn't do anything big, we just wanted to be alone by that I mean I wanted to be alone, Y/N said that we could do a little party with just close friends and family but I told her that I prefer just being with her and Ethan, so we went to the cabin and if I'm honest I enjoyed it a lot, just being with them is amazing and Y/N made it special and well we kept Ethan busy all day wanting him to be tired at night for us to have some fun and it did work

After my birthday we started planning Ethan's birthday, that is tomorrow, March 4th, we wanted something big but of course not that big because well we don't like having a lot of people with us but we want something that Ethan will remember of course it's crazy because we know Ethan won't remember it but that's why we are going to take photos in that way we can show them to him when he gets older

We decided to do it in Sofia's house of course we asked her first and she said yes, she also offered to help so she helped us to get some stuff done. Everything is ready for tomorrow, the only bad thing is that Y/N isn't in town, she had to fly to Italy, she promised she was going to be here and that she won't miss our son's birthday but last time I called her she was still on Italy, I know she hasn't worked that much because of me but I can't help but be a little bit upset that she is in Italy and not here

Ethan was sat in the living room with Kobe around his legs, I don't know what Ethan is saying but he hasn't stop talking with Kobe, I was watching him for afar as I try calling Y/N, a part of me hopes she is not going to answer because she is flying to be here in her son's first birthday, but she did answer

Y/N: Hi love

Me: Seriously?

Y/N: Okay you are clearly mad, can I know why are you mad?

Me: Oh I don't know maybe because you should be on a plane flying back here to be in time for your son's birthday

Y/N: Lizzie I am going to be there, I just have some stuff to do here

Me: Like partying, because I can hear the fucking music Y/N

Y/N: It is work related I'm going to leave soon and I'll be in a plane on my way to you

Me: I swear Y/N if you are not here for his birthday I'm going to be so angry and I'll kill you

Y/N: I told you I can't control this
