Paytons Pov

All I can think about is cam. Not that way, I'm just worried. I mean was it all my fault that Cam almost attempted to kill himself? Or, is it also my fault for him shooting his leg? Just if I would've said one word to him....yes.. why didn't I? I was so stupid. Why can't we just go back. I feel like I shouldn't be saying this because it sounds like I like Cam, which I don't. Cam has been insane, I do feel bad though But Hayes is my boyfriend...I think. He hasn't really asked to be my boyfriend. What does that mean? Ugh. Too much is going on, I need to call Hayes. But, I feel like I should tell you guys some good news. So, Hayes is older than most kids in our grade. He just had his drivers test and he passed, which for me is really surprising. But now he probably will take me wherever I go.

I grab my phone and dial Hayes' number, I click the "call" button and pull the phone to my ear.

Hayes: Hello?

Me: Hey

Hayes: Oh, hey payton. Are you okay?

Me: *sighs* yea I'm okay

*silence*

Hayes: I know your not okay.

Me: *sighs*

Hayes: Im coming over

Me: okay

Hayes: see you soon, I love you.

I can't think that was the first time, what is going on.

I hesitate but say it,
