He was weak as usual but he managed to raise from the bed about ten minutes after Eddy had finished. He was still soundly asleep beside him but he was not that worried. Jane told him that alphas, after a good half an hour of sleep, could be as good as new after a rut. How lucky.

He just checked out of the door if someone was around before slipping back into his clothes. It was also fortunate that he wasn't in heat so that Eddy wasn't able to knot and maybe go on all night with their encounters.

He wasn't allowed to take suppressants still but he was under heat control now and they were enough to inhibit the heat Eddy might have caused him with a rut.

As he was dressed, he decided to take a look around the room. It seemed like a boy room with a big bed right in the middle where Eddy was still soundly asleep, and a large window door facing the back yard. There was a dresser on the other side of the room where lots of trophies laid perfectly polished and tidy. He decided to take a better look and found that they were violin competitions first place trophies and some medicine ones, with also school science festivals and a little of sports.

They were all named Edward Chen, as expected. On the wall right above the dresser there were many cockades named Edward Chen as well, and they were all types of prizes. But it was not the amount of prizes that surprized Brett, but a single photo frame in the middle of the ribbons. There were two adults from which the heads were cut off and the glory of seven children of various ages in front of them. On three of them seemed like the head was fixed in place with some tape after someone had cut it off.

It was not difficult to understand what had happened. One of the children looked exactly like Eddy so those should have been his siblings. The two adults were his parents and the fact that they probably cut out the heads of the omega children from the photo was the reason behind why their heads were cut off. It was surely sweet that Eddy took his time fixing his siblings in the picture and it doesn't have to surprise if he decided to cut his parents out of the frame.

The kids in the picture were all too young to know their second sex so his parents must have waited until they were all at age to pull the stunt of cutting the 'wrong siblings'. And there was also another thing that was quite peculiar about the photo. They were all damn serious. No one was smiling. They were sitting on a bench right in front of their parents with a stiff posture and expression and they were all wearing elegant clothes. Even the youngest one, that seemed around two years old looked really stern.

Eddy: "Mhmhnhnmhnmh"

Grunted the alpha from the bed

Brett turned in his direction and smiled at the grumpiness that for once was targeting Eddy.

Brett: "Good morning sleeping beauty, we have half an hour before they'll start serving food"

He said flopping on the bed near Eddy.

Eddy: "Mh...did...did I have a rut?"

He asked massaging his temples

Brett: "Yes, and fortunately I was not in heat or we would still be at it...and we would have been for the next few days probably...anyway how are you feeling?"

Eddy: "Mh, a little tired but I'm good...did I enter the right room?"

Brett: "If you mean your room, yes you did. I was just taking a look around and unless one of your cousins has your same name, I bet that all those are yours"

He said pointing to the trophies. Eddy raised from the bed until he was seated and started to look at the dresser.

Eddy: "Oh yeah...I should probably move them to my house...my grandparents didn't allow my parents to let us children keep the trophies, they wanted to pride themselves of their nieces. Only my omega siblings could keep them..."
