Cap. 25: Real family

The famous rebellion gala was no other than a simple barbeque held at Belle's house. Brett quickly discovered that the siblings did that every year about one week after the one their family held.

It was not surprizing that they all hated their parents, but it was quite amazing that they managed to form such a strong bond with each other despite the competitive ambient they grew up in.

The day of the gala Brett woke up early and practiced like usual. He was taking a shower right before getting ready to go out with Eddy when he received a call. It was his new agent.

Agent: "Good afternoon, Brett. I am your new agent, please call me Paul"

He said politely as the omega answered the call.

Brett: "Nice to meet you Paul, I wasn't waiting for your call before next week to be honest"

Paul: "Oh the agency is starting to schedule the next season events and I wanted to make sure that you're ready to come back"

Coming back. It was almost a year that he didn't perform in public. It really hit him in that moment.

Brett: "Oh, hem sure, do you need some document or certification?"

Paul: "Just a medical certificate from your hand reconstructor and one from the doctor that did the surgery"

Brett: "Oh ok, I'll make sure to have them ready soon, do you need them by a specific date?"

Paul: "By the end of next week is fine"

Brett: "Ok cool see you next week then"

Paul: "See you next week"

And with this he hung up. it was kind of strange thinking about his coming back. It has been so long since his last concert and it has been so long since he had a packed schedule of concerts. He really hoped he could still see Eddy as usual by then.

As he slipped into his coat, Eddy's car appeared in front of his house. He quickly closed the door and went out.

Belle's house was like Eddy's: simple. In comparison it was bigger and it was a house and not a flat, probably because she was planning to have a family with her partner soon, but despite this it gave away the same feeling. Since it was almost winter the meat was cooked inside, by the fireplace.

All the siblings were already arrived and they were waiting for Belle and the couple in the living room.

Belle: "I tried to keep them calm but they want to know Brett so badly"

She said as she guided the couple to the room. Just peaking it was clear that there were a lot of people. There were not just Eddy's siblings but their partners as well. Eddy, despite being one of the oldest, was the last to have a partner and they of course all knew about Kim so they were curios as hell.

Belle: "Guys"

She shouted on the door causing the people in the room to crowd right before the entrance.

Eddy: "Oh cool I have the reporters this year!"

He joked shielding Brett

Lucy: "Come on gege! We've been waiting so much for the moment you would have brought home someone you love not chosen by the two beasts!"

Eddy: "OK, ok...guys meet Brett"

He said moving to the side to let the people see.

Eddy: "Brett meet Lucy, Matthew, James, Nora, you already met Belle, and the last one is Anthony...where is him?"
