Cap. 27: Coming back (last part NSFW)

From the kitchen came a wonderful perfume of Asian food that become more and more intense as they were getting closer.

As they stepped in the room two things were pretty clear: 1 Brett's mom had made hot pot, and 2 Eddy wasn't the only one not bringing anyone home.

The latter was particularly clear as the young man Eddy supposed being Brett's brother, squared him the moment he entered the room.

Brett: "Dad, Frank, this is Eddy. Eddy these are my dad and my brother Frank"

Eddy: "Nice to meet you"

It was still awkward, especially for the fact that they kept looking at him for a long moment in silence before Frank actually said something

Frank: "Wow, he is real apparently"

Brett: "Ah ah pretty funny, yeah he is real and wonderful"

He said sticking his tongue out at Frank that chuckled. Finally, the man came closer and proposed one hand to shake to the poor embarrassed alpha.

Frank: "Nice to meet you Eddy, I would like to say that I heard tons about you but gege is pretty reserved when it comes to his personal matters..."

Eddy: "No problem really...nice to meet you too"

Thomas: "Oh no this is a real issue since we didn't find out who the man he was 'dating' for the past years was, until the process"

He said in a scolding tone to Brett.

Brett: "I already said I'm sorry I didn't ask for help...but look I'm recovering and he is a big part of it"

Thomas: "Oh I know it...I'm grateful to him, but I'm still concerned for you Brett"

He stood up and shook firmly Eddy's hand.

Thomas: "Thanks for what you've done for Brett"

Eddy: "No worries, Mr. Yang. Brett is strong he can win this"

Thomas: "Oh I know that or he wouldn't be my son!"

He concluded hinting a smile to Brett. It was clear that the man had his own way of loving his kids.

Brett: "Oh right, he cannot smell you're an omega...we are actually imprinted"

At this even his mother stopped stirring and looked at Brett like he had a question mark on his face.

Eddy: "Oh it's nothing concerning we are basically unable to smell other people than each other...it's not mating and it's not volunteer...but it happens when there's high compatibility with a person..."

He tried to explain as Brett's father frowned at his son

Brett: "Basically we are the perfect match!"

He concluded taking Eddy's side with a wide smile. This seemed to calm both the parents and Thomas's features softened.

Thomas: "Damn it, it's always fun when people find out I'm the omega by smelling"

Brett turned to Eddy and explained

Brett: "He is proud of the fact that he was able to raise two strong sons despite being an omega, including an alpha"

He pointed at his bother

Brett: "We all smell like grass and mom smells like pomegranate by the way"

Cecilia smiled at Brett and resumed stirring

Cecilia: "You very good in forgetting me lah!"

She joked while putting one hand to her hip. Thomas walked to her and hugged her from the side leaving a peck on her cheek.
