Chapter 7: Caught

(Aris POV)

"This can't be right!" I yelled re-reading the passage over and over again. "What do you mean?" she asked. "Enti-mon arnt bad! They wouldn't hurt us they are just scared!" The whole cafeteria lowered it's tone. I don't know what I've just done.

"How would you know that?" she began questioning. "Do you know one?" I let out a few shakey breathes then said, "No no no no! I don't know one! I just-" Everything suddenly became inverted.

I swore looking around knowing the Enti-mon was in site. "What's wrong?" she questioned. I spotted it and started running straight towards it. I could hear Nikitas foot steps behind me. I would've pushed her away but I wasn't focused on her. Once she saw the figure she stopped in her tracks and started screaming. Then followed by the whole cafeteria.

"Dude you cant be here! Let's go! NOW!" I yelled just as he picked me up. Just as we were about to fly out the door, he turned around and picked Nikita up. "NOOO! NOT HER JUST ME-" We both screamed as we flew out of the cafeteria and straight into the air.

"AHHHHHHHH!!" we both screamed. He was having the time of his life while Nikita and I were losing our voices. Suddenly, Niki passed out and flew off his back. With no hesitation, I jumped after her. We had to have been at least 400 FT in the air. I grabbed her in my arms as we both were coming close to the ground.

"This is the end of me, what have I done, she didn't deserve this, the book was right, what have I don't, what have I done, what have I done?!?" I thought to myself. I closed my eyes accepting my fate... Just as the figure caught us. That cause me to pass out and Niki to wake up.

~Time skip~

I groaned as I sat up covered in dirt.

"Get down!" Nikita yelled shoving me back down into the dirt. It was dark outside and the moon echoed off her.

"What happened?"

"Enti-mon got us and brought us here."

"What?"

I looked around and recognized the cool pond and landscape.

"This is my grandmas backyard," I exclaimed.

She looked and me and shoved me, "What the hell is going on?" She snapped. I sighed knowing I was going to have to tell her the truth. I got up and walked over to the dock hovering over the water.

"What are you doing!?" she yelled.

"Trust me."

She widened her eyes, she was almost breath taken.

"Uhhh Entie! Come out were not gonna hurt you!" I said in a high piched voice. I've never had a pet before but I knew that they liked that tone of voice.

"You named him?!" she yelled but I ignored.

Out of nowhere my vision became inverted. This ment he was close.

"Entie!" I called. Then he came from the trees. He crawled on all of his fours until he got straight in front of me and stood up on two legs. Shocked my this I stood in silence taking him in.

I could feel that Nikita was confused, shocked, and scared.

"What just happened?!" she yelled. Entie turned toward her and let out a low growl.

"No Entie, this is Nikita, she's a... Friend." It felt weird saying that she was a 'Friend.'

"I'm sorry Niki that I didn't tell the truth to you earlier, I was worried that you would report me if i told the truth but... I don't really care now because nothing can hurt our friendship."

"I won't report you," she claimed.

"Oh my god thank you so much-"

"Under one condition," she said.

I turned to her shivering at what she might say.

"Sure, what do you want?" I asked.
