Chapter 17: Bad men

(Aris POV)

It had been a little over an hour after my father and I's big fight. I didn't want to feel anything. I wanted to be numb over but instead, I was blessed with excruciating pain and sorrow.

"You okay?" Entie asked staring at me.

I blankly stared at the stars above me laying back, "Yep. Never better."

Suddenly, everything became inverted. I quickly sat up and looked around. Entie did the same.

Out of nowhere, I heard a small 'whoosh!' and felt a pain in my neck. I reached for the pain pulling out a small tranquilizer shot. I looked at Entie who got caught in a cast net.

"Whats going on!" I yelled.

"Stay calm! I'm not sure!" He cried trying to escape.

I tried to stand up but everything became woozy and blurry. I fell back over onto my back.

I tried to take deep breaths but my lungs felt small.

I suddenly saw a tall person hovering over me. He grabbed his waki taki and clicked the 'talk' button.

"We got him. And his Enti-mon. He's a powerful one too so we need all of our top sciences. Over." he said.

"What about the human boy? Over." his waki responded.

"He looks weak and lifeless. His resume says that 'His name is Aris Simon, 14 year's old, 5'6, freshman, and has family issues, over."

"Copy that, we'll be over soon, over."

It ws all so clear now, they are the bad men.

"What are you gonna do with us..." I panted.

The tall man glanced at me, "Don't worry, we will have you in good shape in a few months like nothing even happened."

My heart rate was super fast, "You will never take Entie away from me! No matter- how- har- hard... You- try..." Breathing was becoming hard now and I was sweating.

"Aw look at that 178, he's got a name for it." the guy with the waki taki joked. 178 laughed back.

"Please... Don't kill- en.." I moaned out.

I tried to squeeze out one last word but my throat felt puffy and filled with soot.

My invertedness suddenly switched off and my eyes became heavy.

"ENTIE STAY WITH ME! HELP ME I HELP YOU!" I though but no words from him popped into my mind. My ears started ringing.

The two men picked me up and carried me over to a big white van.

I wanted to scream. I wanted to rip their eye balls out. I wanted to kill them. But I couldn't. We were truly helpless.

The only person who can help me now is Jocie but that take guts and I'm sure she's still terrified.

Now it's my turn to feel the pain.
