Chapter 23: Missing
(Nikita POV)
"Day, I don't even know anymore:
My life is gray. Aris has been missing for weeks now. Jocie told me he was kidnapped by the bad men but I just refused to believe it. Both of them are too strong to be separated. I hope they are doing okay. Surprisingly, people actually noticed Aris has been gone for while. He is typically just a random kid no one knows but now everyone is taking notice of him in school. I think Jocie is the main cause of that though. She is so popular in school, people around her feel her feelings towards him now. I think his Father is the one who is grieving the most. Rumor has it, they got in a fight moments before the kidnapping. I just dont know what to do anymore. Each day is getting slower as time goes by without him. I now know why Jocie said 'being a human is harder than it looks.' It's because humans are the only organism that have feelings for each other but can still be heartbroken in a matter of seconds. Now I know why Jocie has never been in love before. She never wanted to be heartbroken. Now I'm wishing that I never said 'hello' to him. I'm wishing that we never sat together on the bus.
I'm wishing that we never met."
I loudly sobbed into my pillow. Now I understand why Aris wanted to drown himself. I wish we could trade bodies that way I have to go through the pain and not him.
I would do anything for that boy, but now it's too late. He has to make his own choices now and hope they are the right ones.
I believe in him.
He just needs to believe in himself.
