Chapter 21: Wrong

(Aris POV)

It had been hours since Hooper and I's interaction. That question was still on my mind though. I'll have to confront Jocie and Niki when I see them again, if I ever do.

Poor Hooper, I wonder what he has been through. He has bruises all over his arms and probably on his legs. His face was covered in dirt and soot. His eyes were red and dry.

~Time skip~

Just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard a small ding! I opened my eyes to see a plater laying on the ground with a cup of smoothie. I blankly staired at the plater confused about where it had came from. I glanced at the clock that read 7:00 PM.

I slid off my bed and grabbed the drink. It had shades of purple and blue in it.

"What is this? What might be inside it?" I thought. "Well... I got nothing to lose."

I gently brought the purple drink to my lips and smelled it. It smelled like... Chicken? Why would it be purple then?

I took a small sip of the drink and to my shock, it actually tasted good. It didn't taste like chicken though, I'm not sure what it tasted like. It had small chunks in it.

Maybe Nikita and Jocie were wrong about this place. I got fresh food, water, a bed, my own dorm, and a new friend.

As long as I dont forget Entie, I think I'm gonna like it here.
