Chapter 29: Lost hope

(Nikita POV)

I screamed and kicked trying to loosen the ropes that tied me up but it was no use. They got us and now we are going to be killed.

"Niki! What's happening?!!" Aris yelled screaming and kicking trying to losen himself as I did.

I looked down, "They got us." Tears drops flowed down my cheeks and my neck.

After a few minutes of attempted escape, the tall purple haired woman from the interrogation room walked in holding a small pistol.

"What the hell!" Aris yelled as the woman approached me holding the gun to my head. I tried to not tremble but the anxiety got the best of me. I didn't say anything though, I didn't need to.

"You both know why you are here, correct?" She asked removing her finger from the trigger.

Aris moaned, "Because we had sex?! Thats so stupid! We haven't seen each other in over a year and now that we are back together, you assume that we dont want to be together?! Y'all run things like **** around here!"

I stared at him petrified. I've never heard Aris swear like that before. It must be his true self coming through.

The woman layed her finger back on the trigger pushing it closer to my head.

I couldn't help myself anymore.

"ARIS! DO SOMETHING YOU IDIOT, PLEASE!!!!" I screamed as voice cracked many times. He stared at me knowing that he nor I could do anything about this.

"Aris. I can predict that you would make a mistake like this and not do it again. Nikita on the other hand, you've been here before so you should know the rules..." She paused.

I glanced at Aris who was breathing heavily and quickly. His face was slowly turning a deep red.

"HE MUST BE HAVING A PANIC ATTACK!" I yelled trying to get her to look away. Just as I thought, she quickly glanced at Aris scanning him of his issue.

I closed my eyes and squeezed my body really hard. I felt my arms and legs grow suddenly snapping the ropes tying me together.

Once I was in my full Enti-mon body, I reached below me trying to grab the interrogator. Once she looked back at me, she was shocked to see a 9 foot giant hovering over her.

Several security guards rushed into the odd room and pulled out their guns. Everyone went still, even Aris.

"Niki! I know you're upset and want to leave but this is how it is! You must face consequences for your actions!" She yelled.

Out of nowhere, she pointed her gun towards Aris holding it to his heartbeat. He gasped for air but nothing helped.

"If you turn back into human, I won't shoot!" She yelled. I have no choice.

I sighed and shrank down to my human form embarrassed but pissed.

I started for the interrogator. I launched myself onto her and started pulling her hair.

Then... I stopped. I jumped at the sudden gun shot. After a second, I realized an outrageous, breathtaking pain shot through my leg. Oh no. I've been shot.

Losing my balance and collapsing on the floor surrounded in my own blood. Then, I said my last words,

"Go...save...Entie..."

Then I heard a final gunshot pierce through my head.
