Chapter 8: Communication

(Aris POV)

"What?!?" I yelled. She smirked, "Dump her."  I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Jocie and I arent dating though!" Then it hit me, "Why do you care so much about me dumping her?" Her smirk disappeared, "Because that's my sister you idiom"

My mouth dropped, "Wait- Wait- Wait- Wait- Jocie is your sister?!" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. In that moment everything became inverted. My yelling stopped and turned toward Entie.

His eyes were blue and he was squirming. For the first time since this all has been happening, I started feeling actual pain. It pulsed throughout my body and I fell to my knees yelling. 

"What's going on?!?" Nikita yelled trying to help me. I screamed in pain again, "I DON'T KNOW- HELP ME!!" There was not much she could do though.

Then everything went black. The pain stopped and things went silent. It was like I was in space. "NIKI? NIKITA?! HELLO?" I stood up and looked around. I recognise this place. Suddenly something happened.

A blue beacon came out of the above and out came a small teenage boy that looked around my age. He had black hair, long sleeves, and blue eyes.

"Aris."

My heart started beating faster. "Hello? Who are you??" I asked slowly walking towards it.

"Aris. I need your help. Bad people are looking for me. I saw some yesterday but escaped. They are looking for you too. Don't go back to school until you know the bad people are gone. You or your friend. If you help me, I help you."

I knew this was Entie talking but I don't know how. "Bad people?" I asked. "Help me, I help you." he finished. He faded away as I ran after him to catch him.

"Wait I- I still have questions?!" I yelled but it was too late.

I screamed in pain and started sobbing into my hands. Bad people were after us? How? Why? Why me? Why us? Then I heard her.

"Aris Aris!" Niki yelled. It was distorted but I knew it was her. "Niki!?" I echoed. I shot my eyes open to see I was in Niki's arms. Tears streamed out of my eyes as I hugged Niki. She hugged me back and calmed me down.

After a few minutes of small sniffles, I calmed down and told her everything. Everything starting from a few days ago to now.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS WAS HAPPENING EARLIER?! OR AT LEAST SOMEONE??!" she yelled as I sat down on the edge of the dock. I was used to this though. All my life I've been yelled at and the best option to choose is to not listen and when they are finished yelling, just agree with them.

My mind went back to the moment that just passed with Entie. "Help me, I help you" It kept repeating though out my head. Chills went down my arms and neck. My stomach hurt. I haven't ate any real food in days. I grumbled loud as I held it. Niki went on and on about trust and Entie but I didn't listen. Pain shot thought my stomach. I hissed and leaned forward grabbing my stomach.

This pain was becoming to much. Grandma is dead, Jocie is dating a guy, parents are not doing anything about my depression, I'm being controlled by the enti-mon, what else is next? Hopefully nothing. I hope this will all be over soon. I might just end it all. I heard death is easier.

I felt a cool breeze almost trying to push me back. I was thinking about what to say to her but then the perfect line popped into my head. It was a quote from my childhood favorite song. It was called "Out of my league."

"If I die dont wake me, cause this is more than just a dream..."

Then I jumped. Leap of faith. I didn't even bother to see Niki's reaction, it would hurt to much.

This was it for me, Aris Simon.
