Chapter 32: Terrorized

(Aris POV)

Tonight was the night. The night I escape from this place that I once longed.

I looked myself in the cracked mirror from all my memories. I never realized I was growing facial hair. I've never been able to grow facial hair! It looked off though, it wasnt the real me.

I quickly punched the already shattered mirror breaking chunks off of it. I picked up a broken piece of glass and held it up to my face slowly hovering above my harry chin and mustache.

~Much pain later~

My entire lower face was quickly bleeding. I tried to wipe the blood away but more flowed out. At least I didnt look like a pervert anymore though. I looked young and strong. But also scary because my face was covering in my own blood.

I turned out my lights and waited for midnight to come. Once the clock on the wall hit midnight, I sprung off my bed and climbed into a fitted vent. It took a lot of squeezing but I can't spend another second in here.

I slowly inched my way through the vents holding Hoopers map in hand. I turned at every corner and slid through every angle.

After 20 minutes of inching through the vents, I came upon a see through vent below me. I tried to climb over it but the spacing was too tight. I had no other choice than to slide my way over it with all my weight.

I put my hand on the vent pulling me forward. Just as I was about to put all my weight down, I felt the vent creak. I took my hand off and backed away.

I looked around realizing my issue. I've never had claustrophobia before but now all of a sudden, I was experiencing the fear.

"Damn you Aris, we need to continue!" I thought taking slow breaths. Then... I heard someone talking in a low tone.

"Shut up you stupid animal! This might benefit you!" Yelled the oddly familiar voice. I then heard almost inaudible whining and moaning.

I looked down into the vent without touching it trying to get a view of what was happening. I was shocked at what I saw.

A man was injecting an Enti-mon chained to a table with a blue glowing liquid. Not Entie though, this was a smaller and weaker Enti-mon.

I never knew such a thing existed. Maybe there is something that causes an Enti-mons appearance or something that happened to them for them to become one.

I stared at the petrified Enti-mon who was now uncontrollably shaking.

"Stay still you idiot!" He yelled slapping it across the face. I whinced at the site looking away towards the metal walls.

A tear drop rolled down my face.

My thoughts went rogue, "I cant just leave him there! Who knows what else they will do to him. Did they do that to Entie?!"

Once I heard the man leave the room, I made my move.

I climbed on top of the vent and fell through it hitting the cold concrete ground. I layed for a few seconds before getting up and rubbing my head. I reached for my head realizing blood was gushing out of the side. Thats now what matters now though.

I stumbled over to the chained Enti-mon and grabbed onto the table for balance.

"I'm gonna get you out of here!" I whispered rubbing its arm.

It looked weak and hungry. We already have a lot in common.

I looked around for anything useful but was shocked to see keys on another crowded table. I stumbled over to the othe table like a drunk man and grabbed the keys. I walked back over to the Enti-mon and started unlocking his chains. Stupid idea, I know but its worth a shot.

After a second of laying down, the hurt Enti-mon arose from the table. I watched as it stood taller than me.

Instead of being a blue Enti-mon like Entie, this one was purple and smaller. It was only around 7 foot tall.

It blankly stared looking down into my frightened blue eyes.

I looked down at my hands shocked to see them smoking a deep blue shade. "What the hell!" I thought. "Did Entie do this?"

It snarled and started for me.

What did I just leash upon me?
