Chapter 35: Goodbyes

(Aris POV)

Once I saw the figure crawl into the vent, I knew it was my turn to do my part.

I slowly walked over to the big tank of Enti-mon and noticed a small rectangular table. Scanning it, I noticed a big red button. My intrusive thoughs got the best of me and I pushed it.

Out of nowhere, an invisible door connected to the aquarium opened up releasing thousands of the figures. They crashed into the solid wall many times until it broke into thousands of pieces freeing them.

Thousands of Enti-mon few there way into freedom carrying the dead ones with them. Then, I noticed another familiar figure.

"ENTIE!" I called out getting his attention. He noticed me and swooped down to get me.

Once he was close enough, I could hear his crys.

"ARIS LOOK OUT!"

Suddenly a electrifying pain shot through my entire body knocking me to the floor. I tried to catch myself but I couldn't move any part of my body.

Once Entie got to the ground, he began fighting the bad men that stood behind me. There had to be at least 30 men going up against Entie.

I tried screaming for help but nothing came out of my mouth. Everything felt as if there was no sound. I saw Entie snarling and hissing, but no sound. I blankly stared at the hoard of Enti-mon flying out of the hole in the wall. Even though they were flying as fast as they could, I could clearly make out what each of them looked like.

Once my hearing and vision went back to normal, I noticed Entie had knocked out all 30 of them.

He sprung over to me and picked me up flying away.

Once we got out of the building, I blankly scanned the area we were in. It was an island!?

Once we got to the opposite side of the island, the Enti-mons opened up a maroon portal and started flying into it.

Entie set me down on the warm sand letting me regain my balance.

"Uhm. I never thought it would end like this..." I said confused and baffled.

He bent down onto his knees adjusting to my height.

He sighed, "Just remember, when the last Enti-mon go's into that portal, you will be spit out where ever we first met."

I thought about it for a second then said, "So I'll be back at my grandmas?" He nodded.

"Will I still remember you?" I asked. He gazed into my confused saturated blue eyes.

I clug onto Entie giving him one last hug.

"I'll try to remember you..!" I whimpered out, "And... Niki..."

"Goodbye Aries." He said flying into the portal along with the rest of his buddies.

Almost for a second, I thought I saw the inside of Enties mind one last time. It was cold and dark but had hope.

I never thought about why we bonded or how we met but I'm glad we did.

We had great adventures together and hopefully there will be an echo in time to remind me of them.

Until then, it's back to being a spoiled, bratty, lonely, teenage boy again.
