Chapter 13: Secrets

(Aris POV)

I slowly inched my way onto Entie's back.

"Try to go slow, I'm sore all over." I quivered out. Even though I've been in the air many times, I still have a small fear of hights.

I took a deep breath out as Entie opened his dark blue wings. A second later, he jerked us into the air going straight up. I gripped onto him tightly trying to stay on. The cool air blew through my greasy blonde hair whipping it around.

"Slow- d- down!" I screeched out but he didn't hear. The wind was too loud.

"You d- dont- eve- even know where- we are g- going!" I yelled but he once again didn't hear.

I closed my eyes hoping this would all be over soon. Just as my heart rate started speeding up, the wind around us slowed and my hair calmed. I slowly open my eyes to see us calmly flying over town.

My heart rate slowed and I smiled laughing a bit. I looked over the edge to see the whole town. The air was so calm and crisp up here. I wasn't scared of falling... I trusted him...

My heart dropped and I got goosebumps. Everything was so...calm and peaceful. My arms and legs felt as if they were floating. I loosened my grip and fell back onto Entie.

"You okay?" he words appeared in my head. "Yeah..." I moaned out closing my eyes. I could feel his smile.

I sat up again taking in the view. I've never felt that feeling before. It felt like comfort and friendship? I dont even know.

~Time skip~

Once we arrived at Jocie's house, my heart was racing again. It had been a few days since the party incident. Maybe we can just forget about it.

I couldn't knock on her front door because her parents might answer and question me.

I walked over to a side window and grabbed a small rock. I quickly threw the rock at the window without thinking twice.

As the small rock hit the window, it broke through and shattered. I gasped looking at Entie. He gave a small grin.

I walked over to the window and reached my hand inside unlocking it. It's not breaking in if its your 'girlfriends' house.

"Entie, maybe you should stay out here. Just until I'm done." I said.

He frowned and sat down.

I slid the window open and slowly climbed in stepping on small shards of broken glass.

The room was cold and bare. It didn't even have a carpet, it was just solid ground. I guess I'm just used to living the fancy lifestyle. The room did have a bed and cabinets though.

The walls were covered in scratches. It's creepy in here.

Just as I was about to walk out the small door, a small notebook caught my eye. It was on a wooden cabinet and had a lock on it. It must be a diary.

I grabbed it looking at the small heart shaped lock. I looked around the room for a key but spotted a bobby pin laying on the floor. I grabbed it and unlocked the diary.

Inside it read, "This book belongs too Nikita Bond"

Oh crap. I shouldn't be looking through Niki's stuff... Yeahhh I dont think she will mind.

I flipped through the pages shocked that they were filled with full pages of writing.

Day One:

This is Nikita Bond and this is my first day being 'normal'. Jocie says it's harder than it looks. After all I've seen, being human looks fun. I was trapped in that body for many years before the bad men got me. I'm glad I'm me now though. Anyways, chat later.

Day two:

Heyyy I'm back. This was my first day at school. Middle school is fun though. The teachers are nice and the people around you care for each other and it's great! The big yellow car with many windows was the best part  thought. Everyone was listening to white sticks. Its so cool that everyone is connected! Check with you tomorrow! Byeee

Day three:

GUYSSS I MET A BOY. HE WAS SO CUTE AND AWESOME. AHHHHHHHHH. I dont know this feeling though... It's like a pleasurable pain in my stomach. Kinda what I felt with Jocie when we first met. She says I can't like her in that ways though. She's odd. Anyways, his name was Aries or something. I'm guessing thats his zodiac. He knows me already :D. Update yall tomorrow byeeee.

Day four:

Holy crapoly. Aris has an Enti-mon. He calls it 'Entie' for short. That makes me feel better though. What if he gets caught by the bad men though?!?! I'll have to cover of him. I cant let that happen. He also... Kissed me? We just met though! I guess I'm getting the hang of this whole human thing. It was kinda awkward though, he seemed weirded out. I like it though, kinda. I don't even know anymore. Maybe this whole thing was all just a joke. I have this feeling of undescribable pain. Jocie calls it, 'regret'. Whatever 'regret' is, I typically get it around Aris. It's not a feeling of comfort but it's not painful either. Like I said, undiscribable.

Holy crap. What the heck did I jist read. Half of that didn't make any sense. What does she mean by, "Being a human looks fun," and, "I was trapped in that body for year's"?

What is she hiding that I dont know.
