Chapter 33: Deja Vu

(Aris POV)

The Enti-mon started for me. I ran backwards but tripped over a wooden box.

The figure hovered over me like he wanted me gone. He must think I was the bad guy. I then suddenly got an idea. A stupid one but it was one.

I looked around for a sharp object. Once I spotted a blade on the counter, I sprung for it and flipped the blade part out.

The Enti-mon was now after me but was still weak due to the injection.

Taking a deep breath, I quickly cut the palm of my hand trembling. Blood slowly oozed out of the wound.

I then ran towards the Enti-mon and put the blade through its foot.

It screeched in pain and fell down onto its back.

I ran over to its head and shoved my bloody hand into its mouth.

The figure all of a sudden stopped screeching and squirming. It took in my blood as its pupils stimulated.

I backed away taking my hand out of its mouth.

The figure stood back up looking me dead in the eyes.

I panted dropping to the ground realizing my head was light and gushing out blood from my fall.

To my surprise, the Enti-mon crawled over to me, cupped its hands around my head, and started healing. A light formed around my head and the pain went away.

I took several deep breaths moaning in pleasure and not pain.

I looked at the figure and said, "Thank you... So much... I might've- died with out you-"

Deja vu.

"I've been here before..." I though. Then it hit me.

At the party a few years ago. When Jocie supposedly hugged her cousin, I hurt my ankle sneaking out and running away.

Entie has done this before.

I looked up at the figure again who was now grinning. It nodded answering my thanks.

"Is there anyway you could lift me up into that vent that I fell out of? Im trying to escape but don't want to get caught." I explained.

His grin disappeared. In knew what he wanted.

"I can't bring you with, its too dangerous." I explained.

He grabbed the blade from the floor and cut his hand. He forcefully shoved his hand in my mouth making me swallow the metalic flavor.

"If you come with me, I'll let you go!" He echoed throughout my head. I jumped at the sudden words.

I sighed, "Fine but if you try to kill me, I'll kill you first."

He nodded and grabbed my shoulders flapping his wings lifting us up. As he started for the door I closed my eyes trying to protect myself. Instead of hitting the door at full speed, we flew through it.

I opened my eyes and was shocked to see a whole aquarium-like tank filled with thousands of floating and lying down Enti-mon. Most were purple, green, and blue but some others were red.

"What is this place!" I yelled looking around at the hungry, helpless figures.

"Some would describe it as, 'hell on earth.'"

"Why are there so many!" I yelled as he gently set me down.

"This is where all the captured Enti-mon go, even the dead ones."

Then I saw it. My hope. My love. The one Enti-mon I could fully recognize. Lying dead on the floor along with some others, was Nikita.

Nikita bond.
