Chapter 34: Untold Secrets

(Aris POV)

"How are there so many Enti-mon here!?" I yelled.

He sighed staring at the big tank of flying Enti-mon.

"Almost 5 years ago, humans opened a portal to our realm. They unleashed thousands of Enti-mon before they were able to close and break the portal. Ever since then, humans have been testing on them trying to find a way us unknown figures can be useful to the human species. Well unlucky for them, the only thing we are good at is bonding and flying. So the humans have kept us a secret for a long time but we are all thinking that we want to burst that bubble and escape."

He paused for a second then asked, "If you help us escape, I'll help you."

Suddenly a distant memory flooded my mind.

"Help me... I help you..." Enties voice echoed though my mind.

I nodded accepting his offer.

"I'll only help you if you help this one kid I know. His name is Hooper Dane. His number is 027. If you get him out of here, I'll get the rest of your buddies out too."

"Deal?" I asked
"Deal." He responded.

"Also quick question..." I stated.

"Uhm, what happens to an Enti-mon that dies... Specifically in a human form..." I asked.

He looked down, "Thats a tough one but, when an Enti-mon bonds with a human they now have the power to swap bodies or consciousness at any time. When an Enti-mon dies in their human form, the human depressurizes the entitys soul."

I looked down, "So when an Enti-mon dies... They kill both the human and themselves?" He nodded.

I looked back at Niki realizing there was no way I could get her back. She lay sound sleep, naked, and at peace now.

"Is there someone in there that you know has gone through that?" He asked. I nodded.

"Well... If we all escape from here, we can open up that portal to go back home and everything that has been modified by Enti-mon will go back to normal."

I looked back up at the figure, "So if I break you all out of here, everything will go back to normal...?"

"Precisely, yes."

I scoffed, this might actually work!
