I wake up with a start, I look around my room gasping loudly, the arm wrapped around my stomach tightens.

'Sunshine?' A groggy voice murmurs.

'We have no baby things!'

'What?'

'We only having fucking clothes!'

'I'm too hangover, come back when my opening hours are available.'

I poke him repeatedly which causes small groans to escape his lips, 'You need to wake up! We need to go shopping!'

'No shops are open today.'

I roll my eyes, 'It's a Saturday.'

'Baby please don't make me get up, my head is pounding.'

'You aren't getting up for me, you're getting up for our son!'

Rocky sighs loudly as he rubs his eyes furiously, 'Fine. But I'm going to be grumpy.'

I roll my eyes warmly, 'You are always grumpy!'

'Whatever.' He grumbles as he sits up.

I bite down on my lip as I look over towards him, 'Hey, I was just wondering...do you remember our conversation last night?'

He ruffles his hair, 'Wish one, we had a lot of them.'

'Um...the one we had when we came home.'

Rocky blinks slowly as he sits up, 'No I don't, sorry. Was it important?'

My heart aches slightly, 'Oh, no it wasn't important.'

'You sure?

'Yeah..It's fine.'

'Your face is telling me that it isn't fine.'

I shake my head, 'Honestly, it's fine. I'm just stressing over buying baby things that's all.'

'Promise?'

I nod weakly, 'Yeah, I promise.'

...

I lean my head against Rocky's shoulder as our hands interlock with one another, while we walk around the mall. A small yawn escapes my lips, I bury myself further into him.

'You're awfully quite today sunshine. Everything good?'

'Yeah.'

'Wow and now I'm getting one word responses.'

'I'm fine, just please stop asking.'

'But when your voice sounds like that, it makes me feel like everything isn't fine. Have I done something wrong?'

I stiffen for spilt second, 'No, you've done nothing wrong.

He groans loudly as he stops in his tracks, 'Yes, I have. Just fucking talk to me Scarlett.'

'There is nothing to talk about, I'm being silly.'

'If something has upset you, it isn't silly. It's valid. So talk.'

I sigh loudly, 'Y-You...you told me that you loved me last night.'

'I did?'

'Yes...you did.'

'And now you are thinking that I didn't mean it?'

I shrug, 'I guess so.'

'Do you think I'm that much of an asshole?'

'What?'

'Do you think that I'd fucking say something like that and not mean it?'

I wince, 'I don't know.'
