3rd Person's Point of View

"Where is she?"

"May pinuntahan daw po kasama ang kaibigan niya." magalang na sagot ni Mely — ang majordoma ng town house ni Yakov.

"And you let that woman out?" Yakov came home pissed as usual, and it even pissed him off more when he saw no traces of Imari in the house.

"Pasensya na po, Mr., akala kasi namin pupwedeng umaalis si Miss Noelle kaya hinayaan na namin kahit paika-ika siya maglakad."

Kahit na mas matanda si Mely kay Yakov, nagbigay galang pa rin siya sa binata at yumuko para tanggapin ang kung ano mang salita na lalabas sa bibig ng lalaki.

"Did Dominic not fucking tell a single soul in this house to not let Imari Noelle Raymundo leave without my permission?!" instead of flooding Mely with the anger Yakov has at the moment, he faced everyone else and exclaimed.

"I had several of my men assigned to look after on Miss Noelle, Mr." Dominic hesitantly broke his silence, his eyes met Yakov's eyes who's now raging in pure madness.

"Where were they when that fucking woman left?!"

"Are you trying to make me laugh Alvaro?"

Sarcasm filled Yakov's voice yet he still sounded madly playful. Napaiwas agad ng tingin si Alvaro nang marinig ang pilosopong sagot ng boss nila.

"No, Mr." tanging naisagot ni Alvaro. "My apologies."

"Find that woman again, Dominic. I'm not done with her yet!" he ordered. "Tie her in cold metal chains if necessary, and fucking have I need to say this once again to your goddamn forsaken minds—don't let her out of your sight, idiots!"

Tumango silang lahat bilang tugon at seryosong tinitigan si Yakov.

"Do you all hear me?!" Yakov bellowed.

"Yes, Mr. Cormac." it was Dominic who answered on behalf of his frightened and nervous men.

"Now, get the fuck out of my sight and start looking for that goddamn woman or I will fucking kill you all!"

Half of Dominic's men left the house and the other remaining half went to their respective posts and spent the whole day guarding the house.

Yakov went to his private room and sat on the swivel chair on his office area. Twisted thoughts came running through his mind, he intertwined his fingers and heaved out a loud sigh. His phone rang all of a sudden, when he took sight of who the caller was, it was his Father.

His fucking spiteful Father!

"I don't have the world's time for your bullshit disposal, Giulio."

Yes, it was rude. But Yakov and Giulio—his father, didn't have a good relationship since Yakov's childhood. All they did was fight like cats and dogs, and he grew up hating his father for all of his inconsistencies.

"Good evening to you too, my beloved son."

"What the fuck do you want?" he irritatingly uttered. "Is this about the woman you got me married to? Waste no breath, old man, I'll have my annulment papers by tonight, and you'll be the first to know when the marriage's annulled already."

"I don't think you can, son. You see, with my money and connections? You are just submitting yourself in a whimsical and audacious fantasy, Yakov."

"You're not the only one with powers, Giulio. Let's see how far and low can you go in ruining my life."

His father chuckled.

"Get settled with that woman, Yakov, because if not? Millions of girls will come knocking on your door claiming that they're yours in the future. Tsk. Ooof."

"Your game is old and tainted with your ugly past, dad. I tell you what, old guys should be visiting the church and start on repenting from their sins by now."

"You can't turn me into a Saint, Yakov. It doesn't run in our blood." his father countered.

"Hell no! I'm not. But I'm advising you to do good before your demise. Our loving God might wanna give you a free pass to purgatory though."

"Say everything you want, son. But you're not getting away from that marriage."

"I'm not that gullible kid anymore, dad. Stop deciding on my life like it's yours to deal with, goddamn it!"

"It's mine. I made you. Get that printed out on your brain, Yakov Vladimir! I will be the one to decide on your rotten life. Besides, are you not happy with the sight of that girl? She's pretty..." he started sounding like a sick ill-fated guy. "and I bet sexy without clothes on too."

Yakov wanted to puke just by hearing his dad utter disgusting remarks.

"I now know how fucking low your standards are when it comes to women, dad. Damn. You continue falling through the cracks just like before. Tsk. Tsk."

Just like that, the conversation ended. His father hung up the call without saying goodbye and that was certainly enough for Yakov to know that he provoked his dad again.
