3rd Person's Point of View

Yakov is currently overseas together with his business partners enjoying the night in an expensive club in United Arab Emirates while trying to close a hundred million dollar deal in his Gas and Oil Business.

He is partnering with a Billionaire Businessman in Dubai, and fortunately, luck is in his side, he has already met Mr. Muhammad Al Rahman a couple of times, so it would not require Yakov much of his time to persuade the middle-aged guy.

"Are you enjoying, Mr. Cormac?" despite Mr. Al Rahman's thick Arab accent, Yakov still managed to converse with him smoothly.

"Although this is not what I personally came for," Yakov started a bit off. He referred to the girls sitting with them trying to flirt and do nasty things, "but I'd be damned to deny that it would only please me if our deal will be closed by tonight, Muhammad."

"Oh. Sure, sure." the businessman was quite drunk already. "But I'll let you meet my daughter first. She came to pay respects to you, Mr. Cormac."

Yakov nodded and watched as the big and elegant gold-painted door cracked open, and this young lady walked inside the private room.

"Naila Al Rahman." Muhammad uttered. The lady walked straight to Yakov and he stood up to show his formalities to the girl.

"Assalaam 'alaikum, Sayyid."

Naila greeted and exchanged handshakes with Yakov. He only nodded in response and went back to his seat as soon as they released each other hands.

Several people went inside the room and served delicious Arab Cuisine, Naila ate delicately as her father told her to.

"Where are the papers I need to sign, Mr. Cormac?" Muhammad broke his silence and delightfully faced Yakov who's now starting to get bored.

A grin flashed in Yakov's lips, he signaled one of his men to hand over the papers to Muhammad, and without further drama, the Businessman signed the papers without reading the whole content.

After the signature, Yakov and Muhammad exchanged handshakes again to show off that their negotiation is finally closed.

From that moment on, Yakov got even more thrilled and let a girl sit on his lap. The woman was flirting at him, he tried to reciprocate some of his energy, but the girl wasn't his type at all.

"Are you down for some wild fun tonight, Mr. Cormac?" the girl whispered on his ears and it was rather cringe for him.

"What's your name?" Yakov asked.

"Malika."

"Do you know who I am?"

The girl went silent for a moment, reassessing her thoughts but she wasn't really sure of Yakov's identity, Malika smiled instead.

"Will you tell me who you are in your hotel room?"

"No."

"Why not? I'd be sure to listen." Malika's fingers roamed around Yakov's chest, trying to arouse sexual tension between the two of them.

"That's all you can offer?"

"I can show you a lot more if we leave this place now and spend the night on your room. Isn't that a good idea?" her voice changed into a charmingly seductive tone.

Yakov's phone suddenly rang.

He checked the caller, it was Dominic.

"Good news or hang up the fucking phone."

And as usual, Yakov answered in an arrogant way.

"We found Noelle, Mr. Cormac"

Dominic sounded unhappy by the trace of his tone.

"Okay." he responded. "Then?"

"But we don't have her at the moment."

"Goddamn, stupid!" Yakov hissed.

"Because —"

"Quit beating around the bush, Dominic. Why is that woman not in your hands?!"

Yakov pushed Malika away.

Although the poor girl was shocked by his sudden aggressive actions, she understood that he was angry so she went back to her seat and ate the food prepared on the table.

"She's in the Hospital, Mr. Cormac —"

"The fuck is she doing there?" he frowned and leaned his hand on the glass wall. He roamed his eyes on the city below and heaved out a heavy sigh.

"Noelle was attacked inside her apartment weeks ago, the identity to the two assailants are still not tracked down up to this day. But the police are doing their best to solve her case."

"How bad is she?"

"Very, Mr. Cormac." Dominic quickly retorted and started feeling bad the moment he remembered the detailed information about what happened to Noelle. "She was beaten up and was shot 3 times in her body."

"So what now, Dominic?"

"At first, the aggressors got most of her valuable stuff and beat her up afterwards. But after they made their escape, they left her belongings outside the compound." Dominic said. "Although  the reason for the incident may be about some unreasonable attack, yet they don't know who could've ordered it since the girl is pretty nice and she has no record for personal issues with other people."

"The fuck I care about the details, idiot." Yakov rolled his eyes. "You know what to do, don't you?"

"Track down the assailants and kill them, yes. I know it." Dominic uttered as if it didn't surprise him anymore about what he's tasked to do.

"Good. No one's gonna lay a hand on that girl until she signs the annulment papers."
