IMARI NOELLE

Sunday.

Binibihisan ko na si Vlad ng pang-gala niyang damit dahil ipapasyal ko siya sa bagong bukas na playhouse sa downtown.

FUN DAZE.

Bibisita kami roon dahil inimbitahan kami ng tita ni Kelli kaya pumayag na rin ako since linggo naman ngayon at quality time namin ni Vlad.

When I told him about where we're going today, his eyes sparkled and jumped out joy.

"Mommy, I am excited to go there..." sabi niya habang sinusuot ko sa kanya ang polo. "I want to meet other kids!"

"You will, baby. I'm sure you'll have fun there." I replied and kissed him on the forehead after successfully dressing him with this cool ootd combination.

Pumara na kami ng taxi at pumunta na sa downtown. Almost 10 minutes lang ang tinagal ng byahe namin at nakarating na sa building.

Sa labas pa lang ay may mga parents nang naglalakad papasok kasama ang mga anak nila.

"Look, mom!" he pointed out the people around us. "So many babies!"

"They're cute, right?" I asked playfully and Vlad nodded in response to my question. "Just like you, sweetheart."

"Yeah, because you're beautiful mom and so that makes me cute."

"You have a way to make me blush, little angel!" I said and decided to carry him as we were entering the building.

Malaki rin ang building, sure akong malaki rin ito sa loob. Maraming mapaglalaruan ang mga bata.

Pumasok na kami at nagpa-register na ako kay Vlad. He got his laminated name-tag and faced me with wide smile. "Mommy, can I go now?"

"Sure, let's go!" sagot ko at iginiya siya papasok sa mismong playground.

May waiting area rin for parents kaya umupo ako roon at tinignan si Vlad na ngayo'y sobrang nage-enjoy sa paglalaro.

"Is this seat vacant?" may magandang babae na lumapit at nakangiting tinignan ako.

Tumango ako at umupo naman siya kaagad.

Blonde ang kulay ng buhok niya at bakas sa postura nitong mayaman siya. She had this charming presence which made everybody look at her for a while and I bet, she's used to it.

"My daughter really loved the idea of going here for the first time, it's her ninang who invited us to attend today's opening of the playground." she spoke out of nowhere, I looked at her to confirm if she was talking to me.

"My son and I was also invited by an acquaintance to come here." I replied and left a soft smile while fixating my sight at my son who's already becoming friends with the rest of the kids playing inside.

May lumapit sa amin na babae at tumayo ang katabi ko para makipagyakapan.

"Tamaryn!" ani ng babae. "Great to see you here!"

"You know I can't say no to your invitation, Reese. Besides, Bianca enjoys it here." tugon ng katabi ko. "And also, this lady's child for sure, is enjoying!"

"Oh, really?" malumanay na reaksyon ng babaeng nagngangalang Reese at ngumiti. "What's your name, sweetheart?"

May kung anong saya ang bumalot sa puso ko ng tawagin niya akong sweetheart kahit pa man ay sigurado akong hindi naglalayo ang mga edad naming tatlo.

"Noelle." tumayo ako at nakipag-shake hands.

"I'm Reese!" she offered her hands and we smiled to each other.
