28. Busy day

We can say that it was one of the busiest days in KIM enterprises as people in the office worked with full concentration and roamed here and there holding piles of files.

Currently, Taehyung was sitting with Hoseok in one of the empty meeting rooms and discussing the project that Taehyung was going to present tomorrow. To say Taehyung was doubting his talent would be an understatement. Even after hearing Hoseok's 'Tae, you are doing amazing, just relax man' for the nth time he still thinks that he's not enough.

Because it's his first time giving a presentation. It's not he hadn't done one in those months, he did work on a lot of presentations but those are all presented by Namjoon, but this time as Namjoon got some important business to handle he asked Taehyung to present it.

Sure Taehyung was so much more excited to be asked to present in front of their partners but he still feels that little rat running inside his tummy. Taehyung was in a mixed feeling. He was delighted but at the same time, he was hella apprehensive.

Because he was going to give his presentation to JR and Companies, a multinational company that too the number one multinational company in Seoul. So if they are satisfied with his presentation they can sign the deal of 50 crores investment and KIM enterprises can get 50 percent shares from them. Yes, more like a partnership for a lifetime. So this made Taehyung agitated.

What if he messed up?

What if they get disappointed with his-

"Knock knock", Taehyung got started by the voice of his best friend. Hoseok let out a humorous chuckle.

"May I get inside your mind to know what you have been thinking that made you fail to notice my presence, sir", Jimin asked sitting next to Taehyung and straight opposite Hoseok. Sarcasm laced in his voice.

Taehyung sighed and rubbed his face on his palm in frustration.

"You know the reason", Taehyung mumbled running his fingers through his hair.

"Hmmm, ok just have this tea", Jimin gave the cup to Taehyung who took that gladly.

"Thanks, chim I needed this", Taehyung said sipping the sweet bitter liquid and sighing in relief when the taste traveled down his dried throat.

"Eww, when did my I-know-it's-my-fault-but-I-won't-apologize-soulmate start to thank me", Jimin said leaning far away from Taehyung as if he saw a cow dung stuck on Taehyung's face.

All three laughed as the atmosphere eased a bit.

"You are doing great Tae, I know you gonna rock it, just relax", Jimin said softly patting the earliers' shoulder. Taehyung replied with a weak smile. Suddenly Taehyung's eyes light up.

"Hey, how's kookie doing, haven't seen him since morning, I kinda miss him", Taehyung asked murmuring the last part to himself. He got too busy with this presentation that he even forgot to greet him.

"Seriously! It was me! Who bought you tea and being an ungrateful brat you are asking about your so-called lover!?!?", the little chicken named Jimin said with a fake bitch-I'm-offended look.

Taehyung just chuckled at his dramatic friend. He just wondered how Yoongi managed to fall for this drama queen and kept his relationship with him for years.

"You know it's not like that chim", Taehyung said.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, he's just doing fine a little busy with work", Jimin informed for which he got a hum from his side.
