38. Don't Ignore Me

Jungkook watches Taehyung working around busily. Taehyung had passed his cabin exactly 5 times and never once he laced his glance at him. If it was a normal day then Taehyung would have talked to him or at least winked at him. But recently he's been avoiding Jungkook. After the day when he indirectly kissed him, if to be accurate.

Jungkook tried talking to the elder multiple times but Taehyung skilfully avoided the talk. It's been 2 days after that beautiful incident if we ask Jungkook. Jungkook rolled his eyes, poking his inner cheek with his tongue when Taehyung laughed with one of his colleagues.

First, Jungkook used to wake up early to go to the office with Taehyung but Taehyung always leaves for the office earlier and goes home soon for someday and late for some days so that he wouldn't catch Jungkook in the way.

Clever.

Second, Jungkook tried to talk to the elder during lunch but Taehyung busied himself to avoid having lunch with him.

Third, the last weapon. Doubts. Jungkook took his file and reached Taehyung to ask some doubts, but the reply Taehyung gave, made Jungkook fume in anger.

"I'm not your department head Jungkook, please ask Hoseokie hyung about that", Taehyung said with a smile that flattened Jungkook's anger.

"I'm not your department head", Jungkook mimicked and huffed in anger. So what if he isn't his department head? He. Should. Have. To. Talk. To. Him.

Jungkook sighed in defeat. He can't do anything to reach Taehyung. So at last he reached Jimin to help him out. The only love guru.

Jimin told him to directly talk about it with Taehyung which doesn't help him even an ounce. I mean he would have talked to the elder if he got that gut but being the shy bunny he is he can't even stand in front of Taehyung without blushing.

But he can't do anything either and so he's standing in front of the restroom door after noticing Taehyung walking into it. He decided to follow Jimin's word.

"Communication is the key Kookie", Jungkook remembers Jimin's words.

"Ok, I can do this", he murmured to himself and entered the restroom. His eyes immediately locked with that hazel pair that was looking at him through the mirror. Taehyung abruptly looked away from those duo big eyes.

Jungkook stood at the entrance with folded arms, brows frowned, nose flared, ready to beat the hell out of Taehyung. Taehyung slowly turned around and tried to walk past the younger. Jungkook blocked the elder by placing his arms in front of him.

Taehyung looked at him with widened eyes. He tried to move to the other side to leave but Jungkook moved along with him and blocked the way.

"What is-".

"What is your problem?", Jungkook asked cutting Taehyung. Taehyung raised his brows in confusion.

"Don't act innocent Tae", Jungkook said in his stern voice, folding his arms against his chest, huffing in annoyance.

"W-What did I do, feather?", Taehyung asked, even tho he know what is he doing he chooses to pretend innocent.

"Huh? What did you do?? Seriously!!!You have been ignoring me for two days. What is your problem?", Jungkook asked anger slowly sweeping through his blood.

Taehyung gulped.

"I-I'm not-".

"Don't. Don't say that you are not ignoring me", Jungkook said pointing his finger at the elder.

"I have been trying to talk to you and all you do is avoiding. You are clearly avoiding me", Jungkook said in his deep voice which indicates that he was indeed mad at Taehyung.
