49. Best birthday

It's been 8 weeks since Taehyung and Jungkook started to go on dates. It's been 8 weeks since both people felt heaven on earth. It's been 8 weeks since Yoongi and Jimin dropped a bomb saying they gonna get married on January 10th. Which means they have only a week for the wedding. Everyone was happy and excited for their wedding.

And with Taehyung and Jungkook, they were literally on cloud nine. Jungkook has been continuously showered by the elder's love. Taehyung took him on multiple dates. A beach date, a movie date, and the unforgettable library date where Jungkook couldn't stop blushing because Taehyung never once looked away from him the whole time. He kept staring at him with his intense gaze and Jungkook couldn't help but hide his face behind the book. And to spice it up the sky started to pour on their way back home and they ended up dancing on the road under the rainy night sky. Laughing, giggling, kissing, yeah a perfect date. They cherish every single moment that's happening in their life.

Currently, Jungkook was furiously typing on his computer taking occasional glances at his watch. It was past 10 p.m. and he was still in his office, working on a project. The due date is tomorrow but he has something more important than this. God, he can't wait for it. A small excited smile formed on his lips thinking about his plans for tomorrow.

A relieved sigh left his lips when he completed his project. He pushed his hair back and glanced at the time which read 11 pm.

"shit", he whispered.

He took his belongings and reached the parking lot after bowing at the security. He has to reach home before midnight. His car rushed at the speed of light and he reached home earlier than expected not forgetting to stop by at a flower shop.

He entered his house, took a quick shower, and put on his pajamas. He checked the time on his phone, noticing that he still have 5 minutes for 12 and his boyfriend's numerous worried messages caught his attention.

With a long sigh and a sweet smile, Jungkook turned off his mobile. He took the flowers and knocked on Taehyung's door.

After a solid 5 minutes, the door opened revealing a half-naked sleepy Taehyung only on his grey sweatpants.

Fuck.

"Feather? Whe-".

"H-Happy birthday", Jungkook whispered after pulling himself from drooling over his boyfriend's toned abs. He forwarded the flowers to him who took that with a surprised chuckle.

"Get in you little bunny", Taehyung said pulling Jungkook inside the house by his waist.

"You bought me flowers?", Taehyung asked placing the flowers on the table and securing Jungkook delicately in his arms.

"Why not? Am I the only one who has to receive flowers here?", Jungkook asked placing his hands on taehyung's chest who chuckled at his reply.

"Thank you sooo much love, these are so pretty- but not more than you, definitely not", he said in a duh tone. They both chuckled.

"I was so busy, I thought I could finish my work earlier but yeah. And am not satisfied with my gift though", Jungkook pouted but smiled when Taehyung kissed it away.
