CHAPTER FIVE:
The day passed by in a blur.
Nothing much happened during those times. (Y/N) spent the whole day lounging around teachers quarters, waiting for her dear sister to arrive.
'Nee-san said she'd tour me around when she's done. Maybe she's busy.'
Feeling bored out of her mind, (Y/N) decided to tour herself around campus. Mitsuri's classes don't end until five, and she didn't want to be a bother to her sister.
(Y/N) exited the lounge, a tinge of dread trailing behind her heels. What if she got lost?
She tried reasoning with herself; There are students planted all around the campus. In case she got lost, she can just ask the students around her.
'You got this, (Y/N)! Your new beginning starts now!"
She started walking around the rather busy hallway. Students were piled around, going about on their usual school day.
As she was walking, (Y/N) looked around and observed the new environment she was in. People didn't seem to mind her as much, just the occasional "Hi" and "Hello's"
(Y/N) was to busy trying not to stumble on her own two feet that she didn't notice the absentminded person walking Infront of her.
Her body collided with a strong build, and she lets out a small yelp.
"O-Oh- I'm sorry!"
There was a hand on her waist, supporting her up to her feet. In an instant, she grabbed onto the person's arm to prevent herself from stumbling.
(Y/N) glanced up to see familiar dark red eyes.
"K-kamado, it's nice to see you again." (Y/N) greeted the boy, a sheepish look plastered on her face.
"Please, just call me Tanjiro." A bright, contagious smile tilted on Tanjiro's lips. (Y/N) could practically see the gleeful and cheery aura that surrounds him.
Tanjiro helps (Y/N) on her feets, and she gives him a small thanks in return.
Curious about (Y/N)'s intentions, Tanjiro quickly blurted out, catching her attention.
"What are you doing out here, (Y/N)?" He asked her.
"Oh- Well."
(Y/N) continued to explain her situation to Tanjiro.
(Y/N) explained how she wanted to familiarise herself with her surroundings so that when she finally starts classes, she'll be able to navigate herself around campus.
Tanjiro nodded in understanding, giving her nothing but his full attention. His hands crossed, eyes closed as he listens to her explanation.
"Oh, I see! If you wanted a tour you could've just asked me." Tanjiro beamed.
