CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE:
(Y/N) chose to let her older sister sleep in since her schedule was later than usual.
She walked to school with the Kamaboko squad, thinking that the stroll would help her ti unwind her thoughts.
She heavd out a small sigh, looking up the orange and purple clouds that flew above them.
It was pretty early, but she already felt drained of the day.
"Hmm hmm?" Nezuko asked, tilting her head to the side as she awaits for (Y/N)'s answer.
She looked at the younger Kamado's with confusion written on her face, then waved a hand at her dismissively.
"Oh! Nothings wrong, Nezuko. I just feel a little weird I guess. It feels like today's not a good day to be happy." She reassures her.
Tanjiro overheard the two's conversation and decided to chime in, a gleeful smile plastered on his face as he says, "What are you saying, (Y/N)? Everyday is a good day to be happy!"
Tanjiro was as cheery and bright as ever. At this point, (Y/N) wasn't even remotely surprised. "Yeah. You have a good point." She agreed with him.
Shortly after, they arrived Infront of the schools entrance.
There, (Y/N) noticed the familiar car that was backing it's way to the parking lot.
Immediately, her heart skipped a beat. Hummingbirds took flight inside her stomach, and she could practically hear her heart thumping loudly againts her ear.
She wasn't ready to face Kyojuro. Not after what happened.
For weeks, she has been trying to avoid Kyojuro. With every opportunity that was given to her, she'd make the most craziest of excuses just to avoid Kyojuro's gaze.
Unfortunately for her, Kyojuro has already picked up on this little act of hers.
And saying that he was greatly disappointed, was the biggest understatement of the century.
He didn't know what he did wrong, and it was slowly driving him mad knowing that (Y/N) wanted nothing to do with him.
But, Kyojuro wasn't the type of give up. He's never been that sort of person.
As soon as his gaze met with (Y/N)'s, his eyes perked up and a smile slowly tilted up his lips. Kyojuro walked forward, making his way towards the anxious looking (Y/N).
Zenitsu peered, "Uh, (Y/N). I think Rengoku-Sensei is coming this way."
Inosuke merely landed a slap on the back of his head because of his statement, "No shit, Sherlock." He then said.
"(Y/N)!" Kyojuro called out to her. With every inch closing in between them, (Y/N)'s heart beat faster and faster.
Kyojuro was glad that he was able to catch up on her this early in the morning, and he only had two tasks in his hands.
