CHAPTER ELEVEN:

Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko dragged (Y/N) in a hurry, leaving a confused and almost annoyed looking Kyojuro Rengoku behind them.

She didn't think much of it, but the aura that surrounded him was immense. There was no way she wasn't able to notice that.

The three went about on their usual routine.

Classes didn't start for atleast another hour, so they had time to walk around and chat about the latest updates.

"Hmm hmm." Nezuko says, her baguette hanging on her mouth as per usual. She held onto her brother's shirt as he leads them the way.

Tanjiro's eyes lit up as he hears his sister's voice, his head turning to face (Y/N) immediately.

"Oh right! Have you heard about the latest rumours, (Y/N)?" He asks the confused looking girl.

She tilts her head to the side and urges for the older Kamado to continue. "I don't know what your talking about." (Y/N) replies.

"Hmm hmm." Nezuko urges for her brother to explain.

"Alright alright!" He smiles at his little sister, then goes on to explain.

"I heard some students talking about it on our way to school. Apparently, Rengoku-Sensei has a child. Isn't he a bit to young to have one?" Tanjiro ponders, his arms crossed as he thinks about the current dilemma.

(Y/N) kept quiet, comprehending Tanjiro's words as he spoke.

She shouldn't be to surprised that Kyojuro Rengoku was already taken, and probably married.

The question that bothered her to the core was—

Why did she care so much?

An awkward smile curved up (Y/N)'s lips as she answers the older Kamado sibling. "Is that weird?" She asks him.

"I don't know. I'm not even sure if the rumours are true." Tanjiro mumbles.

"Hmm hmm!" Nezuko retorts, her brows furrowed and arms crossed as she hums.

"You're right, Nezuko! We shouldn't listen to gossip." Her older brother nodded his head profusely, agreeing with Nezuko's statement.

(Y/N) giggles at the two, loving the bond that they shared.

Nezuko and Tanjiro Kamado reminded (Y/N) of herself and her older sister, Mitsuri.

It's as if they have their own language sometimes, and no one else except for them could understand.

"Well, it may or may not be true. But it's not our business, so we should move on. Classes are about to start soon anyways."

The day went by like a blue, and so did the lessons.

(Y/N) wasn't able to focus on her studies as the rumours of Kyojuro Rengoku lingered in her mind.
