CHAPTER THIRTY THREE:
For the duration of the week, Kyojuro was unable to teach History to his class.
Senjuro explained to (Y/N) and the others that despite having a high temperature, Kyojuro was gradually recovering.
But in all honesty, all (Y/N) could think of was the scene that she stumbled upon that night on her birthday.
The girls emerald green eyes glared sharply at her, as if she was annoyed at (Y/N) for interrupting whatever is it they were doing.
She had a stunning appearance, which made (Y/N) envious.
The girl had beautiful, golden hair that would make even the sun insanely jealous, and she was tall and slim.
The pit of (Y/N)'s churned at the way she regarded Kyojuro.
'Of course his type are immediately beautiful women. Why did I stop to think I even had the slightest chance with him? Stop daydreaming, (Y/N)! He's your teacher!'
"Did you say something, (Y/N)?" Tanjiro asked, brows furred and his eyes held concern for (Y/N).
He's noticed that (Y/N) has been spacing out quite alot in the past few days.
She's so out of herself that even Giyu has noticed her behaviour during P.E.
It was inevitable, and Tanjiro wanted to find out more. But unfortunately for him, (Y/N) wasn't even letting out a peep of information.
She waved a hand at Tanjiro dismissively, "Oh! I was just thinking of that quiz we had earlier. I can't believe I flunked it." (Y/N) heaved out a small sigh.
Tanjiro couldn't believe it, too. "You know..." He then started, "If something's on your mind, we're always here to listen."
"Hmm hmm!" Nezuko chimed in on their conversation, eyes filled with determination.
(Y/N) smiled at the both of them, her heart braking with every step they took, "Nothing is wrong with me, promise!" She reassures them.
It was time for lunch, and (Y/N) intended to eat in the teachers' lounge with her older sister.
She was regretful to miss lunch with the Kamaboko squad, but she was feeling too sick to go out.
(Y/N) notified her older sister through text that she was already on her way.
Mitsuri requested that (Y/N) go to the teachers' lounge first before she caught up with her because she was finishing up a class.
She was taken aback when she opened the entrance to the teachers' lounge and saw familiar golden hues gleaming back at her.
(Y/N) stood there stuck in place with disbelief written all over her face, her eyes wide in shock.
In his teachers' uniform, Kyojuro was as impeccable as ever. And a few of his top buttons were undone, allowing more to the imagination.
He was as enthusiastic and lively as ever, and Kyojuro immediately put a smile on his face upon seeing (Y/N).
"(Y/N)! It's been a while!!"
She stepped back, her frozen state slowly cracking. (Y/N) didn't bother answering, afraid that the Kyojuro that stood Infront of her was nothing but a mere illusion.
Except it wasn't. It was actually him.
That made her mad.
He acted as if nothing untoward occurred on (Y/N)'s birthday.
It's as if (Y/N) hadn't discovered him in his room, covered and drenched in sweat with a woman on top of him, touching his bare chest in front of her.
"Rengoku-Sensei..." She managed to breathe out. Before turning around and started fumbling on the doors handle wiry shaky hands.
"W-wait! We need to talk, (Y/N). Please, take a seat." Kyojuro offered, but (Y/N) paid no heed to his words.
When she eventually opened the door, she was horrified to see the person who had been with Kyojuro on her birthday standing in front of her.
The woman viewed (Y/N) as nothing more than a child while holding a small bag tightly to her chest.
"Oh, hello. Who might you be?" The woman asked, her words icy and filled with spite.
"I-I-i... Uh."
Kyojuro calls out for the mysterious woman as he breaks the tension that was slowly building in between them.
His eyes were wide with confusion, "Vivian? What are you doing here?" Kyojuro then asked.
Vivian entered cautiously and gave Kyojuro a grin before immediately ignoring (Y/N), who stood frozen once again Infront of the door.
Her coloured lips were painted with a smile, and her green eyes were wide and sparkling.
"Hiya, Kyo! I was passing by, and I wanted to drop this off for you." Vivian handed Kyojuro the bag that was clutched to her chest.
As Kyojuro peeked inside, he discovered a prescription medication and some homemade soup. Kyojuro rubs the nape of his neck and grinned awkwardly at Vivian.
He heaves out a small sigh, "I don't even know how you found my workplace but uh- Thank you, Vivian!"
Mitsuri arrived in front of the door right on schedule.
She couldn't help but wonder why her little sister was acting so naively when she saw (Y/N) standing there in a clouded daze.
Before Mitsuri could ask her younger sister any questions, she noticed the blonde hair that was casually fluttering with the breeze surrounding them.
"Oh Em Gee!! Vivian, is that actually you?"
Vivian immediately recognised the voice, as she quickly turns out and beams at Mitsuri with a wide smile.
"AHHH! Mitsuri!!"
Mitsuri engulfed Vivian in a tight hug, and they were both squealing in delight.
(Y/N) was finally snapped out of her trance, then she stepped forward to stand beside her older sister.
"(Y/N), (Y/N)! This is my old dorm mate, Vivian." She grabbed (Y/N) and quickly invites her to their group hug. "And Vivian, this is my little sister."
"Sister?" Vivian looks at (Y/N)'s direction. The icy and cold demeanour vanished in a flash, and was replaced by a more cheery and enthusiastic one.
She smiles brightly at (Y/N). "Oh! It's so nice to meet you! I've heard so much about you from Mitsuri and Kyo."
(Y/N) could do nothing but smile awkwardly at her, "Y-Yeah. It's nice to meet you too."
