milli.

I wake up with a hand resting on my stomach. I tap the black metal ring with roman numerals on it. That is definitely not my roommate's hand.

I sit up abruptly and Sunwoo jumps and shrieks.

"You scared the shit out of me!" He says.

"You scared me!" I catch my breath.

"Why??"

I shake my head. "I forgot," I laugh.

"What a dumbass," Sunwoo says.

"Oy keep it down over there," Kevin grumbles.

I look over my bed and Olivia, Jacob, Kevin and Sora are sleeping all over our room. Jacob somehow made his way into our bathtub.

"What time is it?" Sunwoo says. He lifts his hand and runs it through his wavy black hair. "Hello?" He asks.

"Oh," I force myself to look away from him. A few weeks ago I never would have thought I'd get to sit this up close to him. His hair is more of a dark brown. His skin is sunkissed from playing soccer in high school and his large eyes resemble those of a street raccoon. "It's 8," I answer.

"The office opens at 8:15 you want to head out?" He asks.

"Yeah," I sigh. "Since when do you want to be on time?"

"This is more important than anything in my life." Sunwoo stands up.

"What if we do it tomorrow?" I suggest.

"Mills." He tilts his head at me. "It'll be worth it, I promise. Let's just get it over with."

"okay," I groan.

Sunwoo opens the door and says, "I'm gonna change, meet me at the elevator."

I nod and he leans forward and presses his lips against my forehead. It's hard to believe he's never had a girlfriend up until now. He's a natural.

I catch a small smile on his face as he turns away and walks down the hall. I see myself in the mirror, grinning like a child when I turn around.

"You're down so bad." Olivia says. They're all smirking at me, with the exception of Jacob who's still passed out in the bathtub.

"I-I am?" I ask. My cheeks feel warm.

"You feel those butterflies, don't you?" Kevin smiles.

I nod. "I think we were meant to be."

"ew," Olivia says and Kevin cringes. Sora holds her stomach as if she might throw up.

"Oh don't listen to them," Jacob yells from the bathroom. "That's sweet!"

"Thank you," I say to him. "Also everyone out, the party is long over."

"Fine fine," Kevin grumbles and everyone except Sora grabs their things and leaves.

"You're turning in the form soon right?" Sora asks as I get ready.

"Yeah, I will right now." I answer.

"Excited? Scared?"

I shrug. "I want to do it, but I don't know. It just feels so official now and like... there's no backing out, if you get what I'm saying. And if they don't believe me? Then I'm just trapped."

Sora nods. "I'm sure everything will work out just fine and if they don't believe you then... we can... you know."

"We can what?" I ask.

"You know," She gives me a look.

I stare at her blankly.

"Resort to murder," she whispers.
