Chapter 14 - Wednesday and Enid

AN - I've decided that I'm not going to incorporate much if not any of the actual series because I can't deal with all the plot twists and I'm just writing whatever comes into my head.

The next few days seemed to go by really fast, your hand was a lot better so you were doing the work given to you and you were making sure to behave as you didn't want any more trouble, Xavier seemed to avoid you at all costs and you haven't seen him since the fight. It was Thursday evening and you and Enid decided that going on a walk at sunset would become a regular thing as it made you both closer. Your walk tonight was mainly based on Enid talking about the raven as it was only a few days away and she still hadn't asked the person to go with her
"So Enid who is the person?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"Because I think I know who it is and I don't think you need to be scared that they will say no" you said to reassure her "and who do you think it is?" She looked a bit scared "it's Wednesday isn't it?" Her face was shocked as you guessed right "how did you know that!"
"Hey calm down it's ok I haven't told anyone it's not like I have many friends your the only one who will talk to me since the fight with Xavier" you put your hand on hers "you should ask her I know she would love to go with you and if she doesn't then I'll have a word with her because she would be missing out big time" Enid looked up at you with tears in her eyes "thank you y/n no one's ever supported me like this, I normally support people not the other way" you moved closer and hugged her
"I told you I'll always listen" you said whilst she sat in your arms "hey y/n are you going with anyone?" - you hadn't really thought about it as the only person you would want to go with is Weems and you can't take her not that you thought anyway - "no I don't think so, I don't even know if I'll go if I'm being honest" you wanted to take Weems but you still decided you weren't going to tell enid that because even though she is your closest friend she can't keep a secret. "You can't not go! It will be so fun." Enid said moving her head off your shoulder "well how about a deal then?" You said as you stood up
"What do you have in mind?" Enid said looking a bit worried "if you ask Wednesday to go with you, I will go and I will even dress the part" enid looked a bit shocked and worried at the same time "what if she says no?" You moved your hand to Enid's "well if she does I will go with you and treat you like a princess for the night"
"Ok thank you y/n I think it's time I ask her. would you mind walking me back?" You held out your arm for Enid and she held onto it and you started to walk back. As soon as you reached the school you took Enid straight up to her room "good luck Enid im here if you need to come talk later but I expect a text if she said yes or no" you were about to walk off but Enid stopped you and hugged you "thank you y/n I'll make sure to keep you updated!" She then let go of you, took a deep breath and walked in.

You were smiling whilst walking back to your room as you were proud of what you had just hopefully made happen and you were just in your own thoughts about the raven and even if you couldn't take Weems you would go for her and dress up for her and Enid at the same time but only because of the promise you had just made her. You walked past Weems' office not expecting her to be there but you saw that the light was on so decided to knock. "Come in" she called from inside
"Hi miss, have you got a moment?" You asked walking in "I always do for you" she smiled and you walked over to the sofa she was sat on. "So what's up?"
"We'll i was on a walk with Enid and she started to talk about the raven and I know that we aren't officially a thing and I also know that we can't go together, but I was wondering if you were going to be there and if I could accompany you" you looked up at her and she smiled at you "of course you can darling but we can't show anyone that we are there together or we'll both be in trouble" you hugged her "thank you Rissa! Do you know what you're going to wear yet?" you said in her arms  "we'll i guess that will be a surprise for you, what about you have you got an outfit?" You slowly realised that you had nothing you could wear and the raven was in 2 days "shit no I don't"
"Language darling and it's fine I can drive you into Jericho tomorrow and you can get something then"
"No it's fine I'll ask someone else, I don't want you to see what I'm going to wear so you're surprised as well"
"Ok as long as you are sure dear. Would you like to stay the night?" She asked which took you by surprise as normally you were the one to ask her
"I would love to Rissa, I just need to go talk to someone but then I'll come back and we can watch a movie maybe?"
"That sounds like a good plan but don't be too long because it's lights out soon"
"Ok I'll be quick! I'll see you soon" you walked out and pretty much ran to the library in hopes that miss thornhill would be there.

As you got to the library you were happy to see thornhill reading a book "oh hi y/n what can I help you with? Is it about the work?" She asked as you went over to her "No actually miss I'm here to ask you for a favour" she looked confused "what would that be?"
"We'll i didn't think I would be going to the raven so I didn't go with everyone to get an outfit but I've decided to go"
"Ah I see so you need me to take you to Jericho, can't miss Weems do that?"
"That's the thing I don't want her to see what I'm going to get so I was really hoping you could take me. It's completely fine if your too busy"
"No it's absolutely fine what time would you like to go?" You sighed in relief
"How about we say 2 because it's a half day tomorrow anyway?"
"Yeah that's fine by me if you meet me here then we can go, but please bring that work with you"
"Ok thank you miss I won't forget it I'll see you then!" You then left and made your way back to Weems. When you got back you didn't bother to knock as she knew you were coming, she was sat on the same sofa but with a glass of wine in her hand "hey Rissa I'm back"
"That didn't take you too long, is everything ok?" She asked patting the sofa for you to join her and you did
"Yeah I just needed to sort my ride out for tomorrow and it's all done"
"Ah ok we'll should we go watch a movie then?" She said standing up
"That sounds nice, what movie though"
"We'll do you want to pick?"
"Nah it's fine you can I don't have the best taste in movies that's what my little sister says anyway" you realised that was the first time you had mentioned or even thought about your sister since you were at nevermore "we'll i beg to differ you can sometimes pick a good one, but I'll choose anyway" Weems must've seen that you were a bit freaked out by mentioning your sister so didn't want to say anything else on the subject not yet anyway and picked the movie, putting men in black on. You cuddled up to Weems in bed as the movie played, your phone buzzed and you looked down to see a text "she said yes!" It was Enid and you couldn't help but be excited for her so you started to text her back
"I told you she liked you back! Well done for asking" you looked up to see Weems confused "sorry Rissa it's just Enid" you said putting your phone back down "what did she want dear?"
"Oh nothing it was just about something what we were talking about earlier"
"Oh I see, now can we go back to the movie?"
"Of course, sorry" you cuddled back up to Larissa and slowly fell asleep in the comfort of her arms.

AN - ok so I'm slowly starting to hint about our past and there will be a chapter dedicated to it at some point, it will be full on though so I will write TW on the chapter name. But for now I'm just going to introduce all of it slowly
