Chapter 40 - welcome back

AN - this is going to be a long one

You were woken up to the noise of cars filling the driveway at the front of the school and you pulled yourself out of bed to see all of your year returning, you had completely forgot that everyone was coming back so you went back to the bed and woke weems up "morning Rissa" you said stroking her hair giving her a light kiss "what time is it?" She groaned "it's 9 but everyone is coming back and a lot of people are already here" you explained and she sat up immediately "shit! I'm meant to be downstairs" you chuckled and she hit your arm playfully "darling it's not funny, I need to go right now" she said standing up and getting changed quickly "I was laughing at the fact you swore" you said watching her get changed "yeah we'll i do it every once in a while darling" she explained slipping her coat on "yeah we'll it was still funny, give me 10 minutes and I'll meet you down there love" you said standing up and kissing her before she rushed downstairs, you got changed and texted Enid 'hey I'm going to be at the main entrance when you get back!' And not even a minute later she responded 'im 5 minutes away. I missed you!' You didn't respond and instead just headed straight downstairs to wait for her. When you got downstairs you walked over to weems "good morning miss weems" you said with a smile "morning miss l/n" she said before greeting other people and when you turned around you saw Enid coming over and you immediately hugged her "OMG y/n I have missed you so much! You need to tell me everything that happened over the Christmas break" she said rambling "how about we go for a walk later and I can tell you everything" you said letting go of the hug "that sounds great, what time?" You thought for a moment before answering "I'll come pick you up from your room at 4 but for now I'll help you carry your things up" you said pointing at all her bags "that sounds good" she said and you made your way to her room and when you got there you put everything on her side of the room and just as you were about to leave the door opened and Wednesday came in, Enid ran straight to her and hugged her tightly and Wednesday returned the hug with a smile before kissing her and you cleared your through to show her you were there "sorry y/n didn't know you were here" Wednesday said holding Enid's hand "that's fine I was just leaving anyway, it's good to see you Wednesday." You said walking past them to the door "good to see you too  y/n" she said and you left going back to your room. You sat on the bed on your phone whilst weems did work until your alarm went off "what's the alarm for darling?" Weems asked confused "it was to remind me when to leave because I'm going on a walk with Enid" you explained getting your shoes on "ok we'll don't be too long because it will get dark soon" you walked over and kissed her "I won't be too long love I'll see you later. Love you" you said walking to the door and just before you left weems shouted "love you too" and you smiled walking to Enid's room. You knocked and Enid answered ready to go already so you joined arms and walked outside to your normal place in the woods and sat down both rolling a cigarette "so tell me everything!" Enid said excitedly and you laughed lighting your fag "we'll there's one thing I've been keeping secret for ages but you need to promise not to tell anyone" you said "I promise I won't tell anyone" she said moving closer to you and you took a deep breath "ok.. I've been in a relationship for a while and well were engaged" you said showing her the ring and she freaked out "what! How did you not tell me!? Who is it? Do I know them" you laughed "calm down and I'll tell you" she immediately stopped with the questions and you nodded "so don't freak out again but it's weems" as soon as you said that she freaked out "you mean our principal! And you didn't fucking tell me!" She hit you on the arm and you laughed at her reaction "we'll your the only person that knows other then miss thornhill now" and she hugged you "im so happy for you y/n! When the wedding?" She asked laying on your shoulder "after we graduate but you and Wednesday are obviously invited. But for now you can't tell her" you said laying your head onto hers "I won't I already promised" you smiled and Enid went on to tell you how her Christmas went and when you looked at the time you realised that it was 9:30 "shit we need to go, it's lights out in 30" you explained standing up and helping her up, you slowly walked back to nevermore and when you got to Enid's room you hugged her goodbye "I missed this, goodnight Enid" you said before letting go "I missed this too, have a good night. Say good goodnight to weems for me aswell" she said laughing and you rolled your eyes making your way back to the room.

When you got back you got changed into your pyjamas straight away and then joined weems on the bed "hey Rissa" you said planting a soft kiss on her lips "hi darling, though you said you weren't going to be out for long" she said looking at you and you turned your head away "im sorry me and Enid got caught up" she turned your face to look at her "it's ok darling I'm not angry" you smiled at her "what did you and Enid talk about" you looked st her for a minute before talking "we just talked about her Christmas break and then I told her about mine and about us" you said the last bit quietly but she still heard you "you told her about us?" She said lifting her eyebrow "im sorry if you're angry, she's my best friend and I couldn't hide it from her anymore" you explained and weems just hugged you "it's ok darling. What did she say?" You looked up at her "she was really happy for us and she told me to say goodnight to you" weems laughed and hugged you "im glad she's happy for us but it's late and we really should go to sleep, your back to your classes tomorrow" you groaned before laying down and nesting into her arms "I hate that I have to go back to lessons" weems just laughed and shook her head slightly "you know it's not that bad darling" "yeah but it means that we won't be able to spend as much time together"
"You will still see me everyday and you can come up whenever you need to" weems explained and you agreed "also I don't want to make you mad but I'm going to wear my ring on a necklace so no one notices" you explained
"That's a smart idea darling" she said hugging you tighter and you both drifted off to sleep. When you woke up weems was already getting ready and she looked over to see your eye's slightly open "hey sleepy head, you have 20 minutes until your first lesson" you pulled the cover back over your face "that's 10 more minutes of sleep then" you said trying to go back to sleep but the blanket was pulled away from you "get up darling" weems said with a low voice, you looked at her before pulling her close and kissing her roughly but she pulled away before it could go anywhere "I know what your trying to do darling but you need to get up" you groaned and stood up having a quick shower before getting changed "that's my good girl, now behave today" weems said and she knew exactly what she was doing "and if I don't?" You asked with a smirk "then I'll punish you but this time it won't be as fun as last time" she explained and the smirk disappeared off your face "I love you. Have a good day" she said pulling you in "I love you too. I'll see you later" you said kissing her and heading to your lessons.

You spent the whole day bored out of your mind all apart from your English lesson where you did all the work and more to the point that the teacher had to give you a few extra sheets of work that were meant for the next lesson, after your last lesson you headed back up to your room and fell onto the sofa in weems' office as she joined you "how was your day darling?" She asked and you moved into her arms "the only good lesson was English" you explained yawning "well did you behave?" She asked "of course I did" you said standing up to go lay in bed "I don't feel like cooking tonight Rissa" you said as she followed you into the room "that's fine I'll cook" she said and you smiled "thank you, im going to lay in bed for a little bit" she smiled back at you before heading to the kitchen to make dinner and you got into your pyjamas and sat in bed on your phone. "Here you go darling" weems said handing you food "thank you Rissa" you said before eating as quickly as you could and when you finished you took both of your plates to the kitchen and left them in the sink to tired to wash them up "how about we go to sleep now darling, you seem tired" you joined her in bed "that sounds good" you said cuddling up next to her "I love you Rissa" you said before shutting your eyes "I love you to darling" she said turning the lights off and falling asleep next to you.
