Chapter 23 - Let's try this again

You woke up to weems getting ready for her day "good morning Rissa, what time is it?" You asked whilst sitting up and stretching "it's 7:30 darling so you should get changed soon, if you still want to go to classes today" you stood up and walked into the bathroom to have a shower "you're going to have a shower without me darling?" Weems said whilst coming into the bathroom
"I'm sorry love but I've just got my strength back and can finally walk by myself again I don't want to ruin that by having a shower together so your gonna have to wait till Friday" weems pulled a sad face and you just laughed at her "im sorry Rissa but I need to get ready" you got into the shower making sure to not be too long because you didn't want to be late. As soon as you finished you put your uniform on but wore one of your jumpers over it "darling you know you'll get told off for that jumper, why don't you put a school one on instead?"
"I hate the school jumpers they're uncomfortable and they don't look nice" you then smirked "I'll take my chances what's the worst they can do?"
Weems walked over to you making her tower over you and she pulled your head up by your chin "don't be like that I wouldn't want to have to punish you"
You felt your cheeks turn red almost immediately and you tried to hide it but she wouldn't let you move your head "now be a good girl today and you can get a reward" you nodded and she finally let her grip go. "I'll see you later Rissa, love you" you grabbed your bag that had all of the work you had done throughout the week in so you could give it to all your teachers "I love you too y/n, I'll see you at the end of the day don't forget to take it easy today" you smiled and left making your way down to your first lesson.

Throughout the day you gave your work to all of your teachers and tried not to take notice of the people staring at you due to your week off "hey y/n! It's good to see you in classes, how are you feeling?"
"Hi Enid im feeling a lot better thank you how are you?"
"I'm good really stressed though I have my first exam on Friday" you completely forgot about all the exams coming up and realised that your first exam was also on Friday "shit so is mine, I forgot that they were coming up"
"Why don't we revise together on Thursday instead of going on our walk? We can do it in mine and Wednesdays room if your up for it"
"Yeah that sounds like a plan"
"Ok I'll see you then!" Enid then left and you made your way back up to weems' office. "Hey darling how was your day?"
"It wasn't too bad I had to stop myself from shouting at everyone but apart from that it was good" you said sitting on the sofa and letting out a sigh
"we'll I'm glad you didn't shout at anyone, why don't we go watch a movie and then go to sleep early because you have therapy tomorrow" weems sat down next to you and you put your head on her shoulder "fuck I'm forgetting everything today, do I have to go tomorrow?" You really didn't want to go to therapy because you didn't know if it would help or just stress you out more "first of all stop swearing and second yes you have to go, just give it a chance it might help"
"Ugh ok I'll go but only if we can get lunch at the weathervane after"
"That sounds like a plan, thank you for trying it again" you just smiled and snuggled up to weems before falling asleep on the sofa. She picked you up and took you to the bed putting the covers over you before getting herself changed and joining you.

You woke up to weems stroking your hair "darling you need to get up now, we need to leave soon" you opened your eyes and stretched "can we not stay in bed? I'm tired" you said pulling the blanket over your head "no darling come on you have 20 minutes before we have to leave, now get up" before you could argue with her she pulled the blanket off the bed "that wasn't nice" you said slowly getting off the bed "im sorry darling but you didn't look like you were going to move so I needed to do something" she said kissing your forehead. You got ready but you weren't in the mood to wear the uniform or anything that wasn't joggers so you got changed into a pair of grey joggers and a white long sleeved T-shirt "Rissa?"
"Yes darling what's up?"
"Can I wear one of your jumpers today I just want to have you in the room with me so I can stay calm"
"Of course you can dear" she went over to her wardrobe and picked out a light blue jumper spraying it with a bit of her perfume so it smelt like her "thank you Rissa, how long have we got till we have to leave?" You asked whilst putting your shoes on "10 more minutes dear, but you can't get back into bed because you'll fall asleep" you knew it was true but didn't want to agree with her "that's not fair" you said pulling a grumpy face "I know dear im so mean" weems laughed as you sat on the sofa.
"Ok let's get going now we don't want to be late" you groaned as you stood up and walked down to the car, once you were all buckled in weems started to drive. Normally your car journeys were spent in comfortable silence but you were really stressed out so your leg was shaking and you were fiddling with your hands, weems noticed this and took your hand into hers with one hand still on the wheel "it's going to be ok dear it's just one session and if you still don't like it you don't have to go back" her touch immediately calmed you down and your leg started to shake a bit less "thank you Rissa and I'm sorry for putting you through all of this"
"You don't have to say sorry dear, would you like me to walk up to the office with you?" You nodded and weems parked the car. You both walked into the building and knocked on the door "hi y/n oh and principal weems" you put your head down and didn't say anything "please you don't have to be so formal, Larissa is ok"
"Ok well thank you for dropping y/n off Larissa, would you like to come in y/n?" In your head you wanted to say no and just leave but you didn't say anything and just nodded "I'll be waiting in the car y/n, please try and talk" weems said as she started to leave "bye miss" you said looking into her eyes and smiling.

"So y/n im glad you decided to come back, how are you doing?" You both sat down on chairs opposite each other
"I'm only here because I promised someone I would come but I'm not doing that well if I'm being honest"
"We'll whoever this person you must really trust them, now tell me what's been going on" you explained everything that had happened and kinbott just listened and tried to help you "well there's 5 minutes left of the session so you did really well, do you mind if I ask you one more question?"
You were a bit worried what she was going to ask but nodded your head "this person who you came here for, can you tell me about them?" You didn't want to say weems name just in case kinbott would tell someone even though you were both old enough and it wasn't illegal you were still scared "she's beautiful and so good to me. She helped me after my accident and is always there for me. I really love her" you said smiling and inhaling the smell of Larissa of the jumper she gave you "well im happy that you have found someone, you will always need someone when going through something so you should keep them close" you agreed and left
"thank you dr kinbott and sorry for how I acted when we first met"
"There's no need to dwell on the past
y/n I hope to see you again soon" you then went and got into the car
"hey darling how was it?" You pulled her into a kiss before answering "it was good thank you love, now can we go to the weathervane?" Weems was in a bit of shock from the kiss "of course" she said getting out the car and you both walked to the weathervane, you sat in a booth and Tyler came over to take your order "hi Tyler, I'll just have a chai latte"
"Ok and for you miss weems?"
"I'll have a hot chocolate and 2 croissants please"
"Ok I'll bring them over" you and weems sat hand in hand just chatting before Tyler bought everything over "enjoy"
When he left you and weems carried on talking "I need to tell you about something that's coming up at school but I don't want you to get sad" you looked at her a bit worried
"what is it love?"
"So there's something called parents day coming up in 3 weeks after your exams, but i didn't want you to find out by someone else" you didn't really know how to react after all you knew no one was going to come for you but that didn't really effect you as you were used to it by now "I'll be alright Rissa, I can just spend the weekend in our room" weems looked at you with a sad look "hey Rissa it's ok I'm used to it by now she won't come" you said placing your hand on top of hers
"We'll I'll spend as much time as I can with you and I'll get marylin to come over and we can spend the weekend together" you could tell she was sad and also a bit angry that your parents wouldn't come but you didn't want to pick up on it "that sounds lovely" you both finished your drinks and weems paid she said it was a reward for going to see kinbott and wouldn't let you pay but you didn't fight her this time and left driving back to nevermore.

You had the whole day off but spent it revising so you would be ready for your exams and before you knew it the time was 11 and you were practically falling asleep at the desk "hey darling I think it's time for us to go to sleep you can do this another time" weems said walking behind you and closing your books "yeah I think your right" you got changed into your pyjamas and got into bed falling asleep almost instantly as the day had drained you "goodnight darling"  you didn't respond as you were already asleep and weems just chuckled and pulled you closer to her
