Chapter 43 - nightmare (slight tw)

You woke up the next morning and went to hug weems but she wasn't there "Rissa?" You said quietly standing up "im in the kitchen darling" you heard a low voice saw and you walked into the kitchen to find her over the sink splashing some water on her face "what are you doing it's so early" you said hugging her from behind and when she turned around she looked so tired "sorry darling I was just going to make us some breakfast" she said trying to hide her face "you didn't sleep did you?" You asked putting your hand on her cheek "I did" weems said a bit to quickly "don't lie to me love, you don't need to tell me what your nightmare was about but you need to sleep" you said and pulled her to the bedroom "no I don't want to y/n" she said trying to stand up "sit down love please" you grabbed her arm but pulled it away and walked out of the room "what the hell just happened" you mumbled to yourself sitting in an empty room. You sat in the room for a while trying to think of what to do and hoping that weems might come back but after 2 hours she didn't come back and you decided to go look for her, you checked everywhere and couldn't find her so you made your way to thornhill class hoping that she might've gone there. When you got to thornhill room you went in to find her feeding her Venus fly trap "hey marylin, have you seen Larissa?" You decided to get straight to the point as you were worried "hi y/n and no sorry. Did something happen?" Thornhill asked and you started to pace "I don't know really. She didn't seem like herself and didn't sleep last night and then she stormed off" you explained quickly still pacing "well if you want I can help you look" you looked up at Marylin and stopped pacing but shook your head "im sure she just needs some space I'll wait in the room but if you see her could you call me?" You asked walking towards the door "of course I will, I'm here if you need to talk" thornhill said and you nodded your head "I know you are. I'll see you later" you said before making your way back to the room and you just sat in your room staring out the window for what felt like forever.

You heard the door open and turned round to see weems stood against the door and you could see she had been crying due to her makeup being all over her face you walked straight over to her and hugged her and she broke down so you helped her to the bed and laid her down onto your chest whilst you stroked her hair trying to comfort her "what happened love?" You asked in a light tone "it was the nightmare from the other night. It really got to me" weems explained and you hugged her tightly "you don't have to tell me what it was about but I would like to know" you said moving so you were face to face "promise not to judge me" weems said looking down and you put your hands on either side of her face and made her look you in the eyes "I will never judge you Rissa, I love you and nothing will change that" weems nodded before taking a big breath "I grew up in France and when I found out that I was a shapeshifter I came here to nevermore. When I got here I was placed in Ophelia hall and met my roommate and immediately had feelings for her and once I figured out that I was a lesbian I told my parent but they didn't like it and said that I could never talk to them again" you felt yourself tearing up but tried to hide it and support weems "then in my nightmare they took me away from you" weems voice broke and she started to cry again so you pulled her into a tight hug "I will never leave you, no matter what I will always be here" you whispered into her ear before kissing her cheek "I know you don't want to sleep but you need to, so please for me will you try have at least a few hours of sleep. I will stay right here and if you have a nightmare I will wake you up immediately" you explained and weems hesitantly agreed and you pulled the covers over both of you and let her cuddle into you and you got out your laptop and sorted a few more things out for the wedding whilst she slept. You let weems sleep for a few hours and planned out most of the wedding whilst she slept perfectly and after a while someone knocked on the door you slowly got out of bed trying not to wake weems up and made your way to the door and when you opened it you saw Enid "hey y/n I just wanted to come say bye before I left" she explained and you hugged her "I totally forgot you were leaving today. Wait here I need to get something" you said before rushing to get Enid and Wednesdays invitations to the wedding "here I hope you can make it" you said handing her the invitations "of course I will! I wouldn't miss it for anything" you laughed and hugged her one last time "we'll i guess I'll see you in a few weeks, if you need me call or text me I'll always answer" you said before walking her back to her dorm so you could say bye to Wednesday "hey Wednesday I just came to say bye and to give you this" you said handing her the invitation "thanks for coming to say bye I'll make sure to be there" she explained and you went to give her a high five but instead she hugged you "this is weird but nice" you said a bit shocked "I'll see you soon y/n say bye to weems for me" Wednesday said and you agreed "you better both be at my wedding" you said before leaving "we will be" Enid shouted and you made your way back to weems who was still asleep so you decided to let her sleep and you cuddled up next to her drifting off yourself.

You woke up the next morning and weems was still asleep so you lightly lifted her head up so she was laying on you and relaxed for a while just sitting on your phone whilst weems slept on you but after about an hour she slowly started to wake up so you put your phone down and looked at her
"hey, how did you sleep?" You asked as she slowly sat up "it was a nice nap" she said stretching and you couldn't help but laugh "love you've been asleep for nearly 12 hours" weems looked at you shocked and you hugged her
"I told you that you needed it"
"I might of needed it but now we need to get ready for this wedding it's only a few weeks away" you kissed weems lightly but passionately before grabbing your laptop "I gave Wednesday and Enid there invitations and they both confirmed they'd be there we just need to get our outfits but I don't want to see you until the day" you explained checking off all the items of the list "we'll then I can't see you either" weems said and you agreed "marylin can go shopping with you and I can call Lizzie or Enid" you said whilst looking at some wedding shops "why don't you go with marylin she did a good job on your suit for the raven" you just shook your head "why not darling?" You gave her a small smile before answering "because you need someone there with you and as it can't be me I trust marylin the most please don't fight me on it just trust me" you said moving your hand to her cheek "I trust you darling but I want to make sure you have someone so take Enid with you in real life please you can still call Lizzie but I feel like you should have some support there" you agreed and texted Enid who was happy to go with you so you both got ready and you made your way to meet Enid whilst weems went to meet marylin.

AN - I am so sorry it is taking me so long I have a lot on my plate right now and I'm trying to keep up with everything but it's taking me a bit longer then usual
