Chapter 31 - Christmas

Christmas Eve seemed to go by really quickly and you spent the day on the sofa with your sisters and weems watching movies and just talking and it was a really fun day even though your legs were still sore from yesterdays actions, by the end of the day you were all really tired except for violet who couldn't stop talking about Christmas "ok we'll i think me and Rissa are going to head to bed now, but we'll make sure we're up early tomorrow for presents" you said standing up from the sofa and weems stood up helping you stand "yeah you better be up early or I'll come wake you up" violet said standing up to hug you "I'll get her up violet don't worry" weems said you all said night to each other and parted ways. When you got to your room you and weems both got changed into your pyjamas and laid in bed together before you both drifted off to sleep in each others arms.

You woke up the next morning to violet jumping on your bed "wake up!" She shouted continuing to jump and you sat up and grabbed her by the waist pulling her to the bed and tickling her "merry Christmas little one" you said as she laughed "go upstairs and we will be up in 10 minutes ok" you said letting her go "ok but hurry I want to open presents" she then left the room and you looked over to weems "sorry about that love she's just very excited, merry Christmas" you said kissing her softly on her lips "merry Christmas darling, now I think we best go upstairs before violet comes back down" she said slowly standing up "yeah that sounds sensible" you said getting up and grabbing all of the presents and making your way up the stairs. When you got to the living room you handed out the presents to everyone except weems "we'll then let's start opening presents" Lizzie said and violet started opening all of the presents in front of her but before you could open any there was a knock at the door "I'll get it" you said standing up and walking to the door and when you opened it you saw your dad who you haven't seen in at least 2 years - you called him every once in a while but you hadn't seen him in person for a very long time - "hey y/n" he said whilst you just looked at him and before he could say anything else you hugged him tightly "I missed you" you said quietly, you stood in the door way hugging not wanting to let go but you heard larissas voice from the other room "who is it dear?" And you let go and looked at your dad "who's that?" Your dad asked whilst tilting his head "that's my girlfriend" you said walking back into the living room with your dad following you. When you got back into the living room you sat next to weems "dads here" you said as he walked into the room and violet stood up leaving her presents and hugging him but you didn't pay much attention to that instead you looked at weems who looked a bit worried and you cupped her face with your hand "it's ok love" you whispered just so she could hear it and she smiled back at you and kissed you "can we get back to opening presents now?" Lizzie asked and everyone laughed "yeah sorry" your dad replied sitting down on a chair, you all started to open your presents and you decided to give weems hers "you have another present but I can't give that to you right now" you said quietly whilst handing her a little bag neatly wrapped by the store "I guess we had the same idea but here's yours" she said the first bit quietly and you both opened your presents. Weems gave you a new pair of shoes as she knew you loved them and you couldn't help but be excited but when you looked over at her you could see tears in her eyes whilst reading what the necklace said
'To my true love Rissa, I love you so much and I will never stop loving you. I will make you my wife one day'
You smiled at her and she kissed you "this is perfect y/n thank you" she said with a tear rolling down her cheek "not as perfect as you though" you replied wiping the tear away, everyone was looking at you and you realised you hadn't introduced weems to your dad so you squeezed her hand to make sure she was fine with it and she nodded "dad this is my girlfriend Larissa" you said with a smile on your face "we'll it's nice to meet you Larissa, I didn't know my daughter had a girlfriend" he said holding his hand out to shake hers "it's nice to meet you too mr l/n" she said shaking his hand "oh please call me James" your dad said letting go of weems' hand and looking at you "so what did you get your girlfriend to make her cry?" He asked with a laugh and weems handed him the necklace and your dad smiled handing it to Lizzie who then started to cry a little "it's beautiful, who knew you could be sentimental" she said handing it back to weems  and you looked at her with a shocked face "I can be sentimental sometimes" you said in a jokingly offended voice "yes you can darling" weems said laughing and hugging you.

After a while you all sat down to eat lunch and you had a fantastic time all talking and laughing and once you had all finished eating you sat and watched a Christmas movie, you laid in weems' arms and snuggled up whilst drinking a hot chocolate "this is the best Christmas" you said looking up to weems but she was fast asleep and you couldn't help but laugh a little bit you let her sleep trying not to move, when the movie finished you tried to stand up to go get another drink but weems pulled you back and you weren't going to fight her "darling what time is it?" She asked slowly opening her eyes "it's 8pm so we can go to bed soon if you want?" You said looking into her eyes and she just nodded "ok we'll why don't you go down now and I'll say goodnight to everyone" you said standing up again "ok don't be too long though" weems said making her way down the stairs to bed and you made your way to the kitchen where everyone was "hey guys me and Larissa are gonna head to bed now" you said putting your cup on the side "ok we'll it was lovely to see you y/n and we should meet up again sometime" your dad said hugging you "yeah I'd like that" you said whilst hugging him. You said goodnight to everyone and went to your room to see Larissa asleep in the covers, you joined her and whispered to her "I love you so much and I promise that I will never leave you" you kissed her lightly on the head and fell asleep next to her.
