Chapter 21 - The Impact (TW)

You woke up in a haze with bandages on your arm and thornhill next to your bed holding your hand
"what happened?" You asked confused
"You're up, let me get one of the nurses" you sat there confused about what had happened until you remembered everything and you just sat there in silence not wanting to talk to anyone
"hi miss l/n how are you feeling?" One of the nurses said coming over "im fine can I go now?" You said in a cold tone wanting to be by yourself "im sorry but you have to stay here for observation"
You tried to stand up and walk out but you got light headed and struggled to stay stood up "y/n you need to sit down" thornhill said trying to calm you down "no I need to go, I need to see violet, I can't believe I did this to her again! What is wrong with me" you just continued rambling whilst trying to walk "who's violet y/n?" Hearing your sisters name snapped you out of your rambling "please just sit down, even if you don't want to talk I just need you to relax"
"No I need to go I'm sorry miss" just as you tried to walk out you heard a familiar voice "sit down y/n" you looked up to see weems and you immediately sat down and looked down not wanting to look at her. Weems walked over to you and hugged you, all the tears you were holding in came out instantly "im so sorry Rissa, I get it if you don't love me anymore, no one could ever love me I'm a mess"
"Darling you're not a mess but I do want to know what happened so why don't we just stay here and chat for a bit?" You could tell that she was trying not to cry "ok" you said as weems moved you onto the bed and got up to talk to the thornhill "please don't leave" you said with a shaky voice as you grabbed her arm "darling I just need to talk to marylin I'm not going anywhere"
You slowly let go of her arm and nodded lightly.

"What happened marylin?"
"It's like I told you on the phone y/n was acting weird on Monday and then didn't turn up to her lessons so I decided to go check up on her and she fainted in my arms, so I brought her straight up here then called you"
"We'll thank you for checking on her if you didn't she'd probably be a lot worse" they both hugged and then came back to you "y/n im going to go now, but I hope you get better and I'm here if you need anything" thornhill said before going to leave "wait miss" she stopped and turned to look at you "im sorry for doing this to you, you don't deserve it and I just wanted to say thank you for caring about me" she came over and hugged you "you don't have to thank me, I'll come see you when your a bit better" she smiled at you and you agreed before she left the room.

It was now just you and weems sat in the medical room "y/n darling, I don't want to push you but can you please tell me why you did this" you looked up at her and agreed "my sister text me and it brought up a lot of things that I didn't want to remember and I looked over at my desk and saw the scissors and I couldn't stop myself, im so sorry I wasn't thinking" weems sat next to you in bed and just hugged you "you have nothing to be sorry about, but I want you to go back and see dr kinbott. I know you didn't like your last session but you need to talk to a professional about this." Even though you didn't want to you agreed to go as you wanted to make Larissa happy. "Do you know when I can go back to my own room? I don't want to stay here"
"I'll go ask the nurses now" she then got up and went to one of the nurses before returning back to you "you should be able to leave soon as long as you have someone to help you and keep an eye on you, so do you want to stay with me tonight?" Even though the offer was tempting you didn't want to burden her "no I'm fine, thank you though. I'll be able to look after myself" you gave a small smile "y/n you can't be by yourself in these times and you can't push me away, so you will be staying in my room it isn't a question anymore"
"Ok im sorry, I've just never had someone to care about me like this. Last time this happened no one came to visit me and I was all alone" you just looked down trying not to cry "we'll you have me now dear, let's get going" weems helped you up and one of the nurses brought a wheelchair over " I don't need that" you said in a pissed off voice
"yes you do darling, you can barely stand up without me helping you, don't fight it just sit down"  you did as you were told and sat in the wheelchair "here she will need to take one of these a day and here are some bandages and things to clean the cuts up, just keep an eye on her" the nurse handed a bag full of things to weems and she put them in the back of the wheelchair "I will thank you for helping her" she then pushed you out of the medical wing making her way to the room, people were staring at you whilst weems pushed you down the corridor if you had energy you would've shouted at every single one of them but you just kept your head down not saying a word "oh my god y/n are you ok?" Enid said running over to you but you didn't say anything "Enid I don't believe this is the time but I'll come get you when she can have visitors" weems said trying not to stop "ok thank you miss, I'll text you later y/n" you looked at Enid and saw she was worried so you gave her a small smile and a nod.

When you got back to weems' room you slowly stood up and moved yourself to the bed "do you need anything dear?"
"Actually I really need my phone from my room can I go get it?" You wanted to respond to whatever Enid was going to send you and also try make sense of the texts from violet "I'll go get it for you, is there anything else you need?"
"Unless I can go out for a fag then no"
"You know you can't smoke y/n we had this conversation on your first day"
"Yeah I know just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask" Weems rolled her eyes and left coming back quickly with you phone but as you went to take it she pulled it back "you need to make sure not to look at anything that will set you off"
"Ok I won't" she then handed you your phone and you immediately went to your messages and tapped on violets number and texted her  'hey little one, I hope you're ok. I can't really talk right now but I'll call you soon I promise' you didn't get anything in return but you weren't expecting anything you then decided to text Enid just to let her know you were ok 'hey Enid im sorry but I'm going to have to cancel our walk on Thursday but I'm ok I promise I'll come see you soon' unlike your sister Enid responded pretty much immediately 'that's totally fine y/n, im here when you need me and I hope your ok'  before you could respond weems took your phone away again "hey why'd you do that?"
"Because you need to rest and can't if you're texting people" you agreed with her and laid down in bed "I love you so much y/n and I don't want to loose you so don't do that again" you looked up and smiled "I promise I won't, I love you Rissa" you then both fell asleep in each others arms and you felt safe.
