I noticed Rain wasn't in first period and all day I had this guilty feeling that I was the cause. It wasn't until the last bell rang that I overheard two girls talking about how sad they were that they couldn't go to Universal with the rest of the Dance class. Oh! So she was at Universal Studios! Having fun...without me...probably flirting with a bunch of boys!

Ugh. Roc she can flirt with whoever she wants! She was never yours! I sighed and made my way to the locker room to change before practice.

The week seemed to have dragged on and on since Rain and I haven't been speaking. Rumor has it that she's actually dating someone and so I've been hanging around with Chelsea. There's no real feelings between the two of us, but she's a good distraction from Rain.

I was walking with Chelsea to see a movie when I saw Rain with a tall, older looking guy, he fit the description of the guy the school rumors were based off. So that's her boyfriend? I tried not to look at her too much so Chelsea wouldn't notice she was there too.

"Let's see the new Wizard of Oz movie." She suggested.

"Yeah. Sure, whatever." I said, feeling kind of "Out of it".

"Roc you ok?"

"I'm fine Chelsea, just get the tickets."

I stood near a 'Coming Soon' poster for a movie called "All around the world". I laughed, I kinda looked like one of the people on the cover. I couldn't help but wonder why the one in the middle looked like he was break dancing. Rain was innocently walking along the wall of Coming soon posters, seeing what caught her eye. I watched her from the short distance between us. Her hair was free, and cascaded down her back like a silky black waterfall.

Her hastle eyes sparkled due to the glow of the poster she was looking at. The tight lace white shirt she wore defined her curves, and her jeans had a black belt looped through, probably to match her black and white Nike's, pulling her outfit together.

"Oh." She said turning to me.

I blinked. "H-hey."

"Hi Roc." She smiled.

"Rain! You ready?" The guy called to her, now holding soda's and candy.

"Coming Jake!"

She smiled at me once more and walked towards him, looping their arms. She was dating a boy. He wasn't me. His name was Jake.
