*ROC*

The girl was fast, but I was faster! I started to close in on her and when I was close enough I wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her off the ground.

"Roc put me down! Let go!" She screamed through laughter.

I put her down, but she was laughing so hard that she fell instantly! I collapsed at her side and watched her laughing uncontrollably. I snatched my hat and watched her frown before putting it back on her head.

"It looks better on you."

She smiled and I stood before offering her my hand and pulling her to her feet. We went back over to the balance beam and I sat on it, this time I was watching her, she wasn't watching me. She played a few songs off her phone that her dance class had routines for and my gosh...she knew how to dance.

"I know. I suck." She said, sitting beside me to catch her breath.

"What!? You were amazing! Can't believe you've been single!"

"Roc. I've been single because up until a few days ago I was the girl no one wanted to talk to."

"I know...but THIS you. I like her. I like hanging with the fun, entertaining, crop top wearing, confident Rain...not the Rain who was afraid of me."

She raised her eyebrow. "And whose fault was that?"

I nodded. "Mine. And I'm sorry for the way me and the guys have treated you these past 3 years."

She wiped her watering eyes. "Oh well, let's not talk about it k?"

I shook my head and scooted closer to her. She jumped off the balance beam and started walking towards the exit door. I followed her, and grabbed her wrist when she was just inches from the door.

"Rain."

I looked at her watery hastle eyes beneath the brim of my snapback, even when she cried she was cute.

"Rain. I'm sorry. I know I can't change the past, but I promise not to screw up your future. "

"Oh I know you won't." She said, suddenly snapping. "Because the old Rain, the one that let everyone walk all over her...she's gone Roc. And she isn't coming back."

She shoved the door open and left, it took me a moment to realize this wasn't like when she left my house, because then I had a feeling NOT to chase after her, and now letting her go again wasn't an option.

I jogged to catch up to her and ignored the employees and old people who stared as I passed. I put my hand on her shoulder and waited for her to turn around. Now her eyes passed the watering stage, black streaks ran down her face from the makeup she had around her eyes.

I pulled my hat off her head and wrapped an arm around her torso.

"If you don't want this stop me."

I put my lips on hers and they soon moved in sync. I dropped my hat to the floor to wrap my other arm around her. I let my grasp slide down to her waist and stopped. She was reaching upwards and had her fingers intertwined behind my neck. The kiss was long and told me everything I needed to know. She wanted me, and I wanted her.
