*ROC*

When I opened the door I looked at Rain weird. She had on nice sneakers and jeans, but then this big ugly jacket. I liked her hair out, but once we got upstairs she put it into a sloppy bun. We sat across from each other on my bed and she pulled out her notebook and pencil pouch.

"I need the notes we took when I left class." I told her.

She opened up to a page titled "Notes Chapter 13" in her neat writing.

She handed it to me and then pulled out her calculator and math notebook. She started on some Geometry homework as I copied her notes. The silence was awkward and I felt the bed move every time she'd pull at her jacket. I could tell she was hot.

"If you don't take that off I'm not taking you to the hospital when you pass out."

I regretted it the second the words escaped my mouth. Why am I still being a jerk!? She unzipped her jacket and set it in the floor. My curiousity once again took over and I felt the need to look at her. My mouth fell open a little. Her stomach was revealed. It was toned and...nice looking. Now I knew why she tried to hide herself, she didn't want me seeing her.

" I like your shirt." I said before continuing to write.

"Yeah right." She scoffed.

I looked up again and sighed.

"Look we have to work together can't we at least act civil?"

She laughed. "Shouldn't I be the one saying that?" She asked.

I shrugged.

"I really do like your shirt though."

"Well...thanks."

"Why don't you dress like this at school?"

"Cuz."

"Cuz why?"

"Because Roc. Don't no one wanna see my ugly self in clothes like this."

"Rain you aren't ugly."

"Roc stop. Can you just hurry up please?"

I set down my pencil and notebook and leaned towards her. She hesitated before closing the rest of the distance. Her lips were soft and tasted faintly of watermelon. I pulled her closer to me and deepened the kiss. When she pulled away I frowned. How could she like me? I'm the reason she hates being at school.
