*ROC*

We were both woken up at like 4 am by my mom.

"Rain, your mom's down at the car waiting for you."

I wanted to walk her down, but I wast way too sleepy so my mom walked her down instead.

*THE NEXT MORNING*

As I walked down the stairs I heard voices, and more importantly I heard Rain's laughter. Her face lit up when she saw me and I don't know what took over me, but I snatched her up and kissed her hard.

"Well don't swallow her." My mom commented.

She was smiling hard when I pulled away and our mom's were just looking at us like wtf. I looked at Rain's mom as I wrapped my arms around Rain.

"I'm sorry ma'am I just really missed her."

She smiled at me and shook her head. We spent the rest of the day watching movies in the living room with our moms and ordered pizza for dinner. When it got dark out her mom said it was time for them to go. I wrapped my arm around Rain's waist.

"NO! DO NOT TAKITH AWAYITH THE ONEITH I LOVE...ITH!" I said in a bold voice.

"Roc o' Roc where fore art thou Roc?" Rain responded.

We watched our mom's laugh at us and then they really started to leave. I walked Rain to the driveway, with her mom walking ahead of us.

"Ugh Rain this last week is ganna suck. You have rehersal and I'll have practices."

She frowned.

"I know, but we have all summer."

"True." I sighed.

"Have fun at practice tommorow."

"Thanks. And have fun at dance rehersals."

"Thanks."

I looked up at the stars and then looked back at Rain, pulling her closer.

"Even THEY don't compare to your beauty."

She laughed and looked up at the stars.

"Goodnight Roc."

"Goodnight baby."

She kissed my cheek and opened the car door. At the last second I leaned in and kissed her lips.

"Ok Roc. I'm not keeping her away forever." Ms.Johnson told me.

"When you love someone like I love your daughter just a matter of seconds feels like forever."

She smiled at me and then I walked to the front door, not shutting it till her mom honked goodbye.
