*ROC*

The week went by quickly and I was happy everyone was getting along with Rain. She still chose to spend the mornings with Angie, but every afternoon after both of our practices were over we walked home with the guys. And whenever it came time for us to go down our seperate streets I would kiss her goodbye and she'd say bye to the guys.

"Hi Rain." I said into my phone.

"Hey, whats up?"

"Not much. Just at Ray's house playing video games with Prod, Ray, and Prince come hang."

"Maybe later k? Angie's here and we're rehearsing and studying and ya know, doing girl stuff."

"Oh. Girl stuff...like talking about your super hot boyfriend?"

She laughed and I could hear Angie laughing in the background. "You wish. Bye Roc!"

She hung up still laughing and I felt kinda sad that she didn't answer my question. Isn't that what girls do? Talk about boys and play dress up? As if on cue Ray started asking about Rain.

"So ya'll really like each other?" Ray asked.

"Yeah."

"Like on a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you like her?" Princeton asked.

"12 ok?"

"Daang!" Prodigy chimed in. "So ya'll do...anything yet?"

"Aye man! That's personal!" I yelled.

"You can trust us." Ray said in a tone that was not at all convincing.

"Man go somewhere with that. I ain't tellin ya'll jack!" I told em.

I tried to focus on shooting my enemy's, but then Ray paused the game.

"Man c'mon we wanna talk! How do you go from hating the bit*h to calling her yours!?" Ray asked.

I clenched my fist and bit my lip.

"Don't call her that. Ray do you wanna get punched in the face right now?"

"No." Ray said, sighing.

I stood up and looked at all of them. "All that matters is we're together now mmk? And you can't mess with her anymore because if you do I will personally punch you in your face. I gotta go."

I rushed down the stairs and towards my house. The nerve of him to call her anything but her name was enough for me to wanna never talk to him again. I won't let her be hurt by any of us ever again!

"Hi baby." My mom greeted me as I walked through the door. I waved and sat on the couch next to her.

"Hey ma."

"How is Rain?"

"She's good."

"And you two are still together?"

I laughed awkwardly. "Shocked much?"

"Well yeah honestly."

"Ouch. That hurt."

"I'm just saying. Like because Rain is a smart girl, just like her mother. I'm shocked that after all these years you finally got her."

"Me either." I gulped, feeling antsy. My mom had no idea about the bullying.

"Invite her for dinner will ya?"

I smiled and nodded.

"I'll go call her."

I called her right in front of my mom and she said she'd come. I helped my mom cook, She made the rice and I breaded the chicken. When Rain knocked on the door my mom went to answer and when the door shut only Rain came into the kitchen.

"Well well well. I didn't know you could cook." She said.

"There is a lot you don't know about me Rain."

"Diddo."

My eyes scanned her outfit. She wore jean shorts and a pink shirt that started to get was transparent just below chest.

"And you look amazing by the way."

She flipped her hair and laughed. "I try I try."

I winked. "And you succeed."

She walked over to me and kissed my cheek.

"Just sit for a few, the chicken's almost done frying."

"K."

I felt her eyes watching me as I put more chicken in the pan, it made , me nervous. I always felt this need to impress Rain, I didn't understand why. When dinner finished and cooled Rain sat between my mom and I at the table. My mom and Rain talked about how exams were going, and how shocked my mom was to see Rain and I as a couple. I didn't care to participate in the conversation I just enjoyed seeing my mom happy, and hearing Rain laugh multiple times.
