The next day

Hyejin was having her breakfast and phone lighted up with a notification. She opened the chats to read tge recent message sent to her by donghyuck.

Yo shitass. Get ready. We're going to investigate other sites.

Turning her phone off she got up to get ready for work. As she reached the place she saw donghyuck waiting for her outside, But was irritated when she saw Jaehyun standing besides him wish a smug smile.

"Why are you here?" She practically growled.

"The same reason you are here" jaehyun smirked.

Oh how she wants to wipe that smirk off his face. Her hands was twitching to punch him square in his face.

"Okay before you guys start fighting, we have works to do. So if you don't mind let's head out." donghyuck rolled his eyes at two of them who was glaring daggers at each other.

They successfully completed their investigation and found out more to it. All these while there was seven sins which was the main motive of the killer. They found wrath, greed and sloth and other three of them. As they was driving back to the station Hyejin spoke up.

"The killer Haven't actually killed anyone with lust tho. Do you he'll choose his next victim that way?"

"He might but since there is no specific order we can't be completely sure." Donghyuck replied.

"How bout we keep our eyes on some clubbing bars? He's mostly supposed to choose his victims there if he goes with lust next time." Jaehyun stated

Donghyuch nodded his head in acknowledgement.

"That sounds so dumb. We aren't even sure if it's lust he's going for. We'll be wasting our time. We don't even know the killer's face bruh." Hyejin replied.

"It's better than doing nothing?" Jaehyun tilted his head at her with a taunting smile which annoyed her.

"Whatever" Hyejin just rolled her eyes.

"You roll you eyes too much. Won't be surprised if it falls out of your socket someday." Jahyun told to which donghyuck snickered.

Hyejin just glared at donghyuck which made him pursue his lips into a thin line trying to suppress his laugh.

"It's none of your concern idiot" hyejin muttered clearly enough for jaehyun to hear. Jaehyun just shaked his head with a smile in return.

"We'll just go to cherry high today. It's the current biggest club here now. We'll keep an eye on the people to see if something out of place happens and also enjoy ourselves." Donghyuck piped up.

"sounds like a plan" jaehyun replied.

As he was having a convo with donghyuck Hyejin was staring at Jaehyun's side profile. He wad definitely handsome, too much. But she'll never admit it to him.His smooth white skin and that cute dimple whenever he smiles. It reminded her of peaches.
She was staring deep that she didn't notice him looking back at her.

"Like what you see?" Jaehyun smirked

Hyejin snapped her head to the side clearing her throat. "I wasn't staring at you. I was looking behind you." Hyejin said avoiding any form of eye contact and that was enought to make Jaehyun's pride rise up.

"Mhmmm sure." Jaehyun chuckled.

Hyejin grumbled some incoherent words and got out of the car to walk away.

Donghyuck was watching everything that was happening. He just shaked his head at Hyejin's behaviour.

"She's always like this to new people she meets. Just give her some time. She'll eventually get friendly when she starts trusting you." Donghyuck said to Jaehyun.

Jaehyun just nodded his head in return. Even though he wanted to ask why she was like that he chose not to.

There might be a reason
He thought.

They both got out of the car and walked towards the station.
