Hyejin, Donghyuck and Jaehyun ended up staying late at police station investigating more. They couldn't forgive themselves for what happened.
"The murder was between 10-12 that means it happened before we got there. I mean usually people kills late at night but this dumb shit of a killer does it early." Donghyuck spoke up
"That's the time when cherry high really gets packed up and amidst all if this how did he kidnap her." Hyejin asked.
"No. Mr Lee said the killer doesn't kidnap. The victims go willingly. And i believe the sin this time is to be lust." Jaehyun replied
"We didn't check any signs how can you be so sure if it's lust?" Donghyuck raised his brow looking at Jaehyun.
"Didn't we guess that last time? I mean it's a club so" Jaehyun turned his head away.
"I'll go grab some drinks." With that jaehyun went away.
"He kind of looks suspicious. Doens't he?" Donghyuck asked Hyejin
"He does. He's been acting weird after her death. There's something up with him. He either knows the girl or might be involved in this murder. Wait that means he will be the serial killer. Nah I don't think so." Hyejin replied
"Yeah. That doesn't make sense. But there's something bothering him for sure." Donghyuck said looking at the way Jaehyun dissappeared to.
"I hope he isn't involved in any murder cases going on." Hyejin said with a sigh.
"Awwhhh. Is my pumpkin worried about him? Are you falling in love?" Donghyuck teased
"Eww? Me? With him? Never in a million years" she rolled her eyes making a disgusted face.
"That's what they all say" donghyuck smirked at her.
"Oh shut up"
Donghyuck got up from the chair "Don't come to me one day saying you're pregnant" he spoke while walking out.
"What the hell? You asshole. Come back here." Hyejin shouted
Donghyuck turned back to look at Hyejin before leaving "Weee weee mama i need milkeuu" He said in baby voice and ran away.
"Lee fucking donghyuck. You're dead meat" hyejin started chasing him.
Jaehyun who was standing behind, watching all this, smirked to himself. "They doubt me huh? I gotta keep it down." He muttered to himself, turning away to head back to his home.
Timeskip
Tired was an understatement Hyejin was feeling. She felt her eyes popping out of her socket any time due to the sleepless nights. Yawning，she made her way towards her bed and plopped down.
She stared at the ceiling thinking about the events that occurred today. Her mind gradually gravitated towards Jaehyun.
"He isn't bad person I'm sure. Atleast he doesn't look like it. What's his connection with the girl then?" A sigh escaped her lips. And soon her eyes started drooping, taking her into a dreamland.
