ch-9~

There's something unspoken about the dark. Something terrifying yet beautiful.

Hyejin woke up to her alarm. "5 more minutes" she mumbled in her sleep and the alarm went to a snooze.

"5 minutes for what baby?" A husky voice asked besides her. At that she snapped her eyes open. She turned her left to see the bare back of a man. She widened her eyes and screamed kicking him out of the bed.

"What the fuck!"
Jaehyun's head was throbbing like hell. "Who kicked me down my bed?". He stood up from the ground towering her small frame which was covered with the blanket till her head,  Only her wide eyes peeking out.

"What did you do to me pervert?" Hyejin asked angrily getting up in the process.

"Chill bro. I didn't do anything to you. If i did you won't be able to stand like that now." Jaehyun smirked.

Hyejin's eyes widened at his comment. "Fuck you!" Hyejin spat out.

"Anytime baby" jaehyun winked. Hearing that made her cheeks turn a shade of red. She hastily turned around so that he won't see it. Muttering a few incoherent words ,she stomped towards the door.

Jaehyun plumped back on his bed after successfully teasing her but soon realised he had a bad headache. He groaned shutting his eyes and laying back down.

Hyejin walked down to see donghyuck preparing breakfast.

"What the fuck lee donghyuck?" He widened his yes at her calling his full name. It meant he was in trouble.

"What's wrong?" He asked innocently.

"Don't act like you don't know anything. Why did you put me and Jaehyun in the same bed?" She was practically fuming.

"Okay calm down a little my ears are hurting and for your information i didn't put you both in a bed."

"Then did i magically fly towards him? He was shirtless too. Who knows if that pervert did anything to me" she was screaming at the top of her lungs.

"Hyejin, he's not person who'll do that. He might have felt hot in the middle of the night and took off his shirt and he wouldn't probably be in his right mind when he came to sleep near you. And you should be thanking me. I was the one who was supposed to drink but you got drunk to the point where you was going to kiss random strangers. I still carried your drunk asses to home and this is how you repay me??!" It was donghyuck's turn to shout now. He angrily turned his back and went back to cooking the breakfast.

Hyejin felt sorry for him now. Handling her drunk self must have been a pain in the ass.
"Hyuckieee I'm sowwyyyy"
Hyejin went and hugged him with puppy eyes.

"Go away. " Donghyuck tried to push her out of his way but no avail.

Hyejin was about to say something when the door to jaehyun's room opened. He wasn't shirtless anymore now and was heading towards the kitchen where they stood. Seeing hyejin he smirked. She glared in return which made his smirk a thousand times wider. He enjoyed teasing her so much.

Time skip

At the office, everyone was doing their own works. Every officers had a cubicle like workplace to themselves which contain their computer and many other necessities for work. Donghyuck was typing away in his computer when his phone lighted up with a notification. He ignored it and continued doing whatever he was typing. But the notification didn't stop. It continued every other seconds.

"Bro you gotta check who it is" hyejin spoke up after hearing too much notifications.

"It's an unknown number. She's been messaging me for a day now. She's so annoying. I told her I'm not interested but she never listens" donghyuck replied shaking his head.

"She must be geniunely interested in you. Why don't you give her a try?"

"She just wants to get in my pants hyejin. I can understand that from the way she speaks" donghyuck scoffed.

"Oh" was all hyejin could say. She honestly wanted him to have someone by his side other than a best friend. A girl who can make him happy and make him feel loved. But for donghyuck, he had hyejin. The one who makes him feel complete and that was enough for him.

A panting lee know soon came cutting over the thick tension they got in between. "Guys, another girl is missing."

"Missing?" Jaehyun asked.

"Yeah. Either she's with the killer now or she is already killed and dumped somewhere. We have to find out. Get ready we're leaving." With that he went back to his office.

They all got up and headed out towards their car, hoping that the girl would be alive.
