The charm of horror only tempts the strong.

Ashamed was an understatement which they was feeling. Above that the criticising of media and people. It was hard to handle.

No one thought it would end up like this.

'The culprit admitting to the crimes, was it all his act?'

'Is he trying to cover up for someone?'

'Did someone pay him to do this?'

Thousands of unanswered questions lingered in their minds.

"Atleast we didn't frame him. So i don't think we'll have any punishments." Sunghoon spoke up.

"Only we knows that. If he says that he was framed then he'll be free to go and we'll receive our punishment. But they'll have to find the real killer for that to happen." Mr Lee replied.

"I don't care if we're suspended. I'm going to investigate." Donghyuck declared, earning nods from everyone.

Donghyuck's phone lightened up with a call.

"Hello"

"Hey. I called you to inform something" Mark said.

"What is it?"

"Well. I shouldn't be doing this but-"
Mark hesitated.

"But-?" Donghyuck waited eagerly.

"Well the special unit have bought the body of the recent case for autopsy."
He replied.

"And?"

"Well i thought you might want to see the body?" Mark asked unsure.

Donghyuck contemplated about it. After a few seconds of silence he spoke up.

"Thankyou so much Mark. I'll be right there in 5 minutes" he hanged up the call.

"Mark said that the body is there for autopsy. I'll go and see. I'll take some pictures for you guys to see too." He turned to head out.

"Donghyuck. Don't get caught. Be careful." Mr Lee reminded him.

Donghyuck nodded in response.

Donghyuck parked his car where there was no surveillance camera. Wearily looking around, he approached Mark who waited for him at the entrance of the autopsy room. He told that everyone went out for their lunch and that the mortuary was isolated.

"Okay bro you got 10 minutes. Make sure to come before that." Mark spoke hurriedly grabbing donghyuck by hand and pushing him towards the mortuary.

He walked towards the body which was pulled out from the freezer. He analysed every inch. He also took a few pics before hurrying out. He bid Mark goodbye and headed towards his car.

At the office

Everyone was gathered at the main office waiting for donghyuck. Upon his arrival, they all bombarded him with many questions.

"It was a man. Probably in his 30's. He was also nailed like the previous victims. But there's a change."
Donghyuck said.

"Like what?" Mr Lee raised his brows.

"A sign was burned in his chest. And a number below." Donghyuck took out his phone and showed them the pictures.

"What the fuck is this?" Sunghoon commented upon seeing the sign.

"Mind your language gentleman." Mr Lee scowled.

"Oops sorry."

"119:36?" Jaehyun furrowed his brows.

"Maybe from Bible?" Hyejin asked unsure.

"Let's see" Mr Lee walked towards his computer and searched up for the number.

"Psalm 119:36 - Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to convetousness." Mr Lee read out loud.

"It's talking about greed" donghyuck nodded his head in understanding.

"So instead of candles the killer is burning signs and bible numbers into the chest of victims?" Sunghoon questioned.

"Seems like it." Jaehyun answered.

"Well from what I understood after reading some old cases like this." Donghyuck spoke up pausing in between.

"The killer is furious that we caught someone else for this serial killings." Hyejin completed his sentence

"Bingo" donghyuck turned to look at Mr Lee. "It's like the killer is angry that someone else took the credit for his works." Donghyuck shrugged.

"Works? Geez what a psycho" sunghoon grimaced.
"What does the sign mean tho?"
He asked.

"I think the sign is to challenge us. I don't know if it has any meaning." Jaehyun spoke.

"We'll have to look for it. It's going to be the killer's signature from now on." Donghyuck looked at the sign, anger clear in his features .
