The most frightening monster are the ones that exist in our minds

After getting ready, they were welcomed to a dark room filled with people who wore similar robes and chanting god knows what.

The man who stood on the small stage  called out to them.
"I welcome our soon to be brothers and sister to black Knights."

Sunghoon looked around with wide eyes. "Oh my god. You seeing this donghyuck?"

"Donghyu-" he stopped in mid way upon seeing no one beside him but a woman who was creepily smiling at him.
He turned his head to look around and found the others walking up the stage.

He turned back one last time to look at the woman still smiling at him before quickening his pace, muttering curses.

They walked up to the stage. An eery feeling creeped up Hyejin's skin upon looking at the people in front of her, head down with their face covered. No one knew what they did as a part of this cult. She just hoped they'd get out of there alive.

In the middle there was a table with a pot. The man pointed at it and spoke
"You are to spill your blood into that pot, for our bonds to strengthen. All the people of this family has their blood in it."

Taking a deep breath, mr Lee stepped forward taking the blade placed near. As soon as he cut his palm, he let the blood drop into the pot.

"Doesn't he feel any pain?" Donghyuck asked frowning.

Soon the others came forward to do the same.

"You're now a part of black Knights and nothing can break off our bond. If you practice any sin you shall strictly be punished. And what you see here is strictly confidential. That's all.Pray for what you wished. The almighty will make it come true. Miracles will happen." The man spoke aloud.

"Let miracles happen." They chanted together.

After the event they were welcomed to have food. Mr Lee was seated near the man whom he supposed was the head of this cult.

"If you don't mind may I ask you a question?" Mr Lee spoke.

"What is it?" He stopped whatever he was doing.

"Are you the head of black Knights?" Me lee asked.

"Why do you ask?"

"I just wanted to thank him personally for treating us good and taking us in." Mr lee replied.

"Well. He comes by sometimes. None has seen his face and none knows his name. We don't dare to question our almighty." The man spoke.

"Almighty my ass" Donghyuck mumbled to which Hyejin lightly bumped her shoulders asking him to be quiet.

"May i know your name sir?" Mr lee once again voiced his curiosity.

"I'm park dohyun" he replied.

The rest of the meal was in silence. No one dared to speak a word.

They was back in the car preparing to leave the place.

"Pheww. I thought i would die in there." Sunghoon commented.

"Same" donghyuck shuddered at the thought.

"Someone else started this. My hunch says he's related to this serial killings." Mr Lee spoke up.

Everyone was immersed in talking while Hyejin and Jaehyun stood around each other awkwardly. Jaehyun was trying his best to strike up a conversation.

He cleared his throat. "Uhm Hyejin I'm really sorry. I never meant it to happen. Please forgive me. I won't repeat it again I promise." He said everything in one breath.

Hyejin just chucked in response.
"Calm down. I already forgot about it." She shrugged.

"Really? No misunderstandings then?" He asked.

"Nope." She smiled. To be honest she missed talking to him. She was waiting for him to apologize and talk first. Her pride won't let her do it.
She felt relieved now that everything was cleared out.
