Every fairytale had a bloody lining. Everyone had teeth and claws

The next day went by fast. Everyone was busy doing their own works. It was lunch time.

Hyejin was wrapping up all her works when she saw donghyuck leaving the office. She started at his retreating figure with furrowed brows.

"Did he forget my existence? There's something that's definitely bothering him. Maybe i should ask?" She got up picking her bag.

Hyejin decided to follow donghyuck to the cafe he was going to.

Upon her leaving Jaehyun came up
"Hey you headed to the cafe?"

"Yeah. What about you?" Hyejin asked

"Mee too. Let's go together." They walked towards the cafe that was nearby and to which donghyuck just got into.

Donghyuck was in a deep thought when his phone rang.
"Hello"

"Donghyuckaah, did you think about what mommy said?"
It was his mom again

"I told you not to call me again" he shouted into his phone which turned several heads towards him. Apologising to the people around, he tried to calm himself.

"What are you trying to do? Didn't I told you not to contact me again?"
Donghyuck spoke in clenched teeths.

"Son. It's still not late. Think about it. You're life will be more lavish. You'll become rich. Don't you want that?"
His mom replied.

Donghyuck took a deep breath.
"Is it so hard to get into that thick skull of yours? I told you I'm not interested in you or anything related to you."

"You still hang out with that orphan girl right. What's her name? Hyejin? She made you like this. That bitch"
His mom spat.

"So what? Yeah ,she's orphan. But she's thousand times better than you. And right now i wished I was also an orphan. Cuz that's how much you embarass and annoy me right now. Now fuck off."
Donghyuck hanged up the call.

He pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance. He heard footsteps approaching him. He turned his head to see Jaehyun and Hyejin walking towards him.

"Hey donghyuck! Wassup bro. You're pretty busy nowadays i guess. No time to talk to me huh?" Jaehyun pouted.

Upon seeing no reaction from donghyuck, Jaehyun's brows furrowed.

"Hey buddy everything alright?" He asked.

"Yeah. Just busy" donghyuck shrugged his shoulders.

Jaehyun knew that wasn't the reason but still went on with it. Hyejin has been staring at donghyuck from the moment she arrived.

"I know I'm handsome okay? Stop staring now." Donghyuck told

"Aah our cocky donghyuck is back" hyejin smiled.

Their coffee cups was soon emptied.

"I think I'll go now. I have to go somewhere." Jaehyun got up.

"Oh okay. See you." Hyejin replied.

After Jaehyun left Heyjin turned her head to look at donghyuck across her.

"What's wrong hyuck?" Hyejin asked worried.

"Mom called." A sigh left his lips

"Your mom? Really? She has some nerves woah." Hyejin scoffed.

"She wanted me to marry some girl as part of their buisness. I can't believe her. Even after all these years she haven't changed a bit. She's still that money sucking leech."

Donghyuck clenched his fists in anger.

"It's okay hyuck. Some people never change." Hyejin tried to caom him down.

"It's not that what matters. After all these years of abandoning me, she called for a fucking marriage!!?. She never loved me. Mother my ass."
Tear welled up his eyes.

"Hyuck come on. You shouldn't think about negative things like that. You should think about positive things like me." Hyejin smiled cupping her face in her hands.

Donghyuck looked at her with a serious face. "I'd rather jump off a cliff." He got up to leave the cafe.

"Yaah!! You should be thankfull to have me! Yah come back here you jerk." Hyejin shouted following him out of the cafe.

Both of them was bandages to each others wound. They had an unbreakable bond and both of them made sure not to break that forever.
