Chapter 5

This was Jungkook's first public appearance since his father left. The alpha had denied leaving his house except for run.

The trueblood's eyes shot blood red while Jungkook felt uneasy. The smell of pinewood with a hint of basil invading his senses making him difficult to breath. The alpha's eyes shot purple staring at the trueblood.

Taehyung's years old wait was over. All his visits to different places were over.

Jungkook had arrived after the fight had started but he was not in his senses as his alpha wolf had took over. His wolf was howling in mirth recognising his fated mate. The years long wait was over. Finally he will be able to feel the love which he was missing and craving for all these years.

Unknown to the alpha wolf, his human part was seething in anger and sadness. Jungkook never thought his fated mate whom he was waiting for will be a trueblood alpha. He hates all the truebloods with his entire heart and now knowing that his mate was a trueblood too broke his heart into pieces that were impossible to glue together.

Alpha Taehyung frowned staring at his mate who was some what looking sad. Before the trueblood could even make a move, Jungkook had already left the ground.

The whole croud had witnessed their head alpha and crown prince being mates. They even saw how the crown prince left the ground without even looking back.

Alpha Taehyung cleared his throat before gesturing the representatives to continue the function. The Queen too angry because firstly they had lost and secondly for not liking the behaviour of her son.

Taehyung walked towards the podium . His wolf giving him a hard time to control himself from following his mate after realising that his mate have left him.

The treaty was signed between the two packs with alpha Taehyung ruling both the packs. A few more constitutional points were to be added to the treaty as per the queen, and Taehyung very well knew what they were going to be.

The trueblood decided to look at that matter some other day. His first priority now was to find his mate and to know the reason behind his ignorance.

The trueblood wandered around the forest ground in search of his alpha. He could smell his alpha's scent which was coming from behind the huge banyan trees.

Alpha Taehyung took slow and calculative steps not wanting his alpha to know that he had recognised the smell. He knew that his alpha won't be able to catch his smell because it was a gift from god only to the trueblood.

Jungkook was sitting behind a huge banyan tree still catching his breath from how fast he had run. He felt as if his worst nightmare had become real.

"Why did you run away from me alpha? ", a cold voice startles Jungkook, his eyes going wide.

"None of your business.", Jungkook grits out not even moving from where he was sitting. Not when the trueblood was not willing to come in front of him.

"We are mates.", Taehyung says walking around the tree only to see Jungkook sitting with his eyes closed, sweat covering his neck and temple.

Beauteous

The first word that came into the trueblood's mind. Jungkook though was sweating and his hanbok was a little dirty because of the sand, looked beautiful.

"I don't care we are mates or not. I have nothing to do with you.", Jungkook grits out his palm folding in a fist, nails whitening.

"What do you want me to do? ", the trueblood although sounds calm but his mind is full of questions which he knew will be left unattended.
