Your wish, my command

Chapter 41

"Alpha, you are teasing me now, aren't you? ", Jungkook stirs the soup before scooping it in a spoon. There's steam coming from the soup which Jungkook dilutes so that the alpha doesn't burn his tongue.

" You are easy to tease, my heart.", Taehyung opens his mouth as Jungkook feeds him. He has his eyes stuck on the way the luna blows some air on the soup to make it warm.

"Why did you have to visit the borders all of a sudden? I heard there were some breaches.", Jungkook asks as he continues to feed the alpha. He hadn't got the chance to ask the alpha about this before but now is the perfect occasion he concludes.

Moreover, he wanted to know what Jisun was doing all the while the alpha was busy with the soldiers. Not that he gives  a damn about that omega but since his mate is involved in this, he is curious.

" There have been. The Noon pack is having a rift against moonlight pack. And since we are in good terms with moonlight pack, they are blackmailing this pack that they'll destroy their patrons and hence they will be left all alone. But I believe that that's not it.", Taehyung explains, his eyes observing the luna who seem to be summing the knowledge.

The way the Luna's expressions turns from being calm to fierce when he mentions about the loophole, Taehyung finds it quite attractive. He has always known that Jungkook is a smart person and so, getting some help from him will be far more beneficial then doing it all alone.

"What do you mean by that's not it? You have found some loopholes, haven't you? ", Jungkook questions, feeding yet another spoonful of soup to the alpha.

This is what the alpha was thinking about earlier. The luna is too smart to understand the meaning behind his words without him even wording it out entirely. This is what he loves about his mate the most. The minimalist use of words is what fascinates him about his mate.

" I believe that their intention is not only to destroy the Moonlight pack alone. There's some hidden intention that they are trying to cover up. Something more vile and evil."

Taehyung gestures the luna to stop feeding him, his eyes looking at the knot that's loosened of the Luna's hanbok. Taehyung unties the knot, supporting the two ends of the hanbok from falling apart and giving him a clear view of the Luna's skin.

He could feel the luna breathing heavily under his touch, his chest rising as he inhales. Taehyung ties the knot back, tightening it so that the hanbok's loose end doesn't fall off the Luna's shoulder.

"From what I have understood, the Noon pack seems to be firing at us under the pretense of them firing at the moonlight pack. I mean, their actually target is our pack but since they can't really take us down alone, they are trying to break our leg and by the time we regain from this breach, they'll take down the moonlight pack and after that we'll be their easy target since we won't have any supporting pack."

Jungkook puts forward his beliefs. He ignores the way the alpha looks at him with a surprised expression but then nodding at him. There's a slight tick on the alpha's lips which doesn't go unnoticed by the luna.

"I was thinking the same. This is my theory as well. Which is why I have asked our soldiers to practice archery and brush up their skills since the Noon pack is known for their archery warriors. Honestly, I am sure that the Noon pack won't take the risk of going against us but we'll still have to take proper measures.", Taehyung sighs.

"How are you so sure about it? ", Jungkook hands over a cloth to the alpha to wipe his mouth.

" Something from the past still hinders all our rival fellow pack alphas. I can't tell you much right now but I assure you that you'll know it soon.", Taehyung answers.
