Jungkook stares at the intricate designs of the ceiling. The unique and enticing form of a particular architectural style made the ceiling very eye catching. Many thoughts running in his head about everything that happened earlier.

Now lying on the bed in the room assigned to him which Jungkook surely believes is too big and spacious for one person, Jungkook couldn't help but ask himself questions which he surely knew would be left unanswered. The unwavering feeling making a permanent home in his heart.

"How does alpha Taehyung know about me not eating from my heart?"

The first question that arises in Jungkook's mind makes him frown and his heart palpitate. He surely knows that it isn't because they are fated. They don't have any bond between them as they aren't mated yet. Werewolves have always been very keen and particular towards their fated ones especially their mated.

Why did Taehyung looked unfazed by his confirmation about his decision on not wanting to get married?

If anyone else would have been in the trueblood's place, they would have been on Jungkook's throat for even thinking of rejecting them. Jungkook has always been well aware about the alpha's, him being one of them.

Jungkook tosses on the bed, now facing the moon.

"If the moon appeared anew in the sky upon a clear and starry night, in that instant it would elevate the souls of all to some higher plane."

Jungkook wishes to be a part of the souls that the moon elevates to some other universe. Away from all his miseries, problems. The thought of being in some other universe making his wolf whimper but he stands still with his thoughts.

Till a few days back, Jungkook didn't have an idea about how he would be promoted from being a side character of his life to playing the role of the main hero.

It is funny how even a side character gains fame and attention when he finds a mate for him. People are interested in love stories more than the life the characters live. Jungkook chuckles at that. He has seen many such acts being performed in his pack from the little space in his huge balcony.

He closes his eyes trying to get some sleep. It's cold outside.  The sky was overcast with clouds and chilly winds were blowing making the branches swing in the same direction as the wind. He is glad that he carried the Kashmir blanket with him which was provided inside the carriage. By some reason the blanket provides him the warmth his own woolen clothes couldn't.

Jungkook sniffs the unwashed calming scent of his fated one, his mind dizzy. Somehow the scent lulls him to sleep. His eyes closing, drifting him into a deep slumber.

The next day he wakes up with a knock on his door. He slowly walks up to the door his feet dragging over the cold floor. His hanbok long enough to swipe the dirt off the floor.

He opens the door only to find Jin standing there holding a pot of water in his hand. Jungkook keeps staring at the omega who looks overly excited in contrast to the tiredness Jungkook is feeling.

"This is rose water. Wash your face with this when you take a bath. It will make you feel fresh. The bathhouse is located at the end of the backyard. There is no separate bathhouse associated with this room so you'll have to share it with Taehyung.", Jin explains walking inside the alpha's room keeping the pot on a table.

"I don't wish to share a bathhouse with that alpha.", Jungkook retorts walking where the omega was standing.

"This is how it works here Jungkook-ah. You don't have any other choice.", the smile Jin flashes is sweet as if the omega doesn't know any other emotion but happiness.
